Should Landover Baptists Do Community Volunteer Work? Don't Bother.
 

Around the Des Moines area, and other places, liberal churches have press events to tout how much volunteer work their members do. Doing community volunteer work is so far from the True Christian™ calling, it is blasphemous.

If there is important work to be done, there is money to pay someone to do it. Otherwise, it's not important.

Nowhere in the Bible does the phrase, "community volunteer work," appear. If people have extra time on their hands, they should get a second job.
