SIGN OF END TIMES - CORNINGWARE

Hello Sisters,

I come with you with a dire warning that I was just made aware of in my Kitchen.

CORNING WARE IS NO LONGER CORNING WARE

No it seems that the Godly American Company sold off it's Kitchenware products in 1998 (yeah, I just found out). Now the great kitchen names of Corningware, EKCO and Pyrex are cheap knockoffs. How did I find this out? Well the boy's broke one of my Pyrex pie plates, so I went and bought one at Wallmart. I baked a pie, took it out of the oven and put it on the counter to cool and it cracked in half. Perfectly in half!

So wondering what was going online, I went to Cornings website in order to complain and get a replacement because Corning has always had a life time guarantee. WELL NOT ANYMORE!

Now the names I mentioned above are cheap Chinese knock-offs made in China for World Kitchen. Fortunately I have found that there is a small group of dedicated lovers of old Corning products, so Seth ordered some through E-bay. Thank the Lord that I can still find the old stuff.

HOW THIS IS PROOF OF END TIMES.

I brefely looked through this list of end times signs, and the following scriptures spoke to me when I read them.

Matthew 24:11 "And many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many."
Well they may not be "false prophets" but they are definitely misleading many. How dare they make this crap and market it under a name that has been a kitchen staple for a hundred years.

Matthew 24:7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes."
The Chinese are rising against us by killing us with our cheap products! I am not going to have a happy husband with either a store bought pie or no pie at all tonight. Also, could being pieless be classified as a form of famine? And hubby's anger a form of an earthquake?

Matthew 24:8-9 "But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations on account of my name."
Well by not having a pie available tonight, I have been delivered into tribulation. I doubt this situation would kill me, but what if there is lead in these new products? I'm pretty sure the Chinks are adding lead into everything they send over in order to poison us.

2 Timothy 3:1-5,7 "But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of god; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth."
Well the lover of money fits here. The Chinese would rather make cheap products that we need to replace regularly rather than something that could last for years. My sister still has my mothers Corning ware that she bought in 1957. Is it a sin to covet your Sisters bakeware? Being older she got all of the kitchen stuff. We also know that the Chinese are not lovers of God and are into all sorts of sick twisted perversions.

1 Timothy 4:1-3 "But the spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons. By means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth."
Well if you take this in line with Titus 2:3-5 women have fallen away from the faith by following the deceitful spirits and doctrines of feminism. Otherwise there would have been a great outcry about the cheapening of Corning products.

Of course there are other things that point to this being the end times, but to see it in your own kitchen is incredibly disturbing.

HOW TO TELL THE GOOD CORNING PRODUCTS

Vision Cookware - The new corporation does not make Vision Cookware, so buying this used is safe.

3 Blue Cornflowers on white - This pattern was discontinued in the 1980's so if you have this, it is the good stuff.

Gift sets - These are incredibly rare, if you have them you are lucky and hold on to your gifts.

Made in France by ARC - I know, I know, I hate anything made in France as well, but if you want new. This is the only quality stuff Corning carries.

MADE IN USA/ENGLAND/CANADA - Before the bankruptcy Corning was made in Corning NY. Pyrex could have been made in any of the three countries.

WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR

Simply Lite - This is cheap Chinese stuff! It cannot go on the stove top like real Corning ware can.

Ridges molded into the bottom - These are the cheap products, avoid them.

MADE IN CHINA - obvious reason.

I hope you other women find this useful, thank you.

@BelieverInGod Thank you for sharing your wisdom! My father says everything from China is Un-American. :)

Oh my goodness I had no idea. Thank you for bringing this to light sister Believer In God, this is really serious news. I will be sure to spread the word around my church.

Praise Jesus Sister!

I'll pass this on to Muriel when she gets home from the bus stop.

I know she keeps a bunch of the slop she serves me in Tupperware. Is this still a Godly US product or a slant counterfeit that will poison us with Melamine?

In Christ

BROTHER :fear2:

I didn't even think of the Tupperware! Most of mine is over 20 years old (like my old Pyrex pie plate :cray: ) I will do some research!

Re: SIGN OF END TIMES - CORNINGWARE

Brother Porter,

I did some research into Tupperware and it seems that it is made all over the world. Head office is in Orlando Florida and they do have a plant in Hemingway, South Carolina. Other plants are found in China, Japan, Korea, India, South Africa, Greece, Portugal, France, Belgium, Brazil, Venezuela, and Mexico.

On the plus side, it seems that the Femnazi's are doing everything they can to bring down the company since it promotes "the traditional woman's role as a homemaker".

Sister,

I thank you so much for bringing this to our attention! As you know, I am currently in Australia doing some of God's work and planned on purchasing some (what I thought was) tried and true Corningware duty free on my way out. I even planned on getting a nice set for you and I eyed one off that I thought would compliment the color scheme of your kitchen as well as be a bit of a contrast to the kitchenalia you have on show.

This information has certainly made me rethink ALL kitchen hardware purchases.:hmmm:

Not only about freezer/oven/tablewares but also Tupperware and even the pots and pans I contemplate purchasing from here on in!:fear2:

Gosh, just the other day I was thinking of getting a full set of Scanpan, but not now.

Have we been idle and complacent in thinking our kitchens would be safe havens from satans influence?:o

It appears so.:(

Bless you Sister BiG. You have saved many a kitchen headache and also by the sounds future "pyrex" chard-filled pie.

Very true Sister, Considering some of the pictures I saw while doing my research, it seems that Jesus was looking out for me and I got off lucky. Could you imagine if it exploded (as has happened to others) Shards of 350 degree glass with peach syrup flying across my kitchen. Just look at what some of these poor victims of Chinese sabotage had to suffer. Chinese don't believe in women staying home since they think having more than one boy (and no girls) is evil. So I think they sabotage our cookware in order to try and get American women to give up their homemaker lifestyle out of shame.

All I will say is that if I saw the kitchen in my home producing meals, like those pictured, my wife would not have to worry about being able to work a job outside the home. Her biggest worry would be her ability to walk to the bus stop herself, in fact it would be the worry that she would be able to walk at all!

Last week I tossed every bit of that fancy ass cook ware, no more glass, alumimunim, stainless steel or copper. I replaced it all with Godly Cast Iron. If it was good enough for the founding Fathers of this nation, its good enough for me.

BeliverInGod,

Normally i would have no truck with talk about how Godly American companies off shoring to China to escape union terrorists is somehow bad, but reading your post has changed my mind. Only someone who has the Holy Spirit on their soul ike a bald eagle on a salmon could write something like that! Clearly Christ has moved your weak, feeble female mind to speak out against cheep knock off dinnerware. I will purge my own house of this menace when I get home.

EXACTLY! :fear2: I tell you it's communist sabotage! Women crying, families going hungry all because they decided to go with a cheap form of glass?

Brother, I usually have no problem with Chinese products, but when the chinks start messing with a woman's ability to feed her family, that is just wrong. It also wastes money, which when you're married to a Scot, is one of the worse wifely mistakes imaginable.

Fortunately if you're willing to hunt, a woman can find the good stuff in junk shops and estate sales.

I know you are a woman and therefore highly prone to hysteria, but I don't know what you find so darn funny about the Word of God.

Ecclesiastes 7:3 Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.

I believe you should. I supplied Biblical evidence supporting my claim. The pastors are in agreement with me (although slightly worried about my obsession with cookware) my husband is in agreement and has no problem with me buying older cookware from estate sales and such.

If the pastors and my husband say I'm right, then you have no right to laugh at me.

Oh Sister, you were truly taking your family's LIFE in your hands by buying that new stuff! The olde ways are always the best.

I am so glad no one was hurt.

Listen, the Widow Sarah on Gateshead Road has a huge stockpile of the old patterns. Collecting it all was practically her life. There's so much of it it's practically breaking the shelves of her display cabinets, and has obviously become unsafe.

She's fading fast, now, poor thing, but I know it delights her to see someone else appreciating her collecion, and taste. She can't talk these days, but her eyes just light up when she sees me itemizing and labeling it all, and consulting all her old collectors magazine indexes.

She mostly has "Strawberry" and "Spice O' Life". (I took the "Snowflake" pieces.) Also a lot of the classic "Cornflower", but that must have been her everyday set, because it's pretty worn. I think it's best to leave her with those. Older people appreciate being surrounded with the familiar.

I doubt she's left the house in about 20 years, so there's no chance any of these are the fewfangled, "cheapie" version. Just let me know what you want and I'll box it up.

Sarah would want it this way.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PS: I just found more "Cornflower" in the spare bedroom. Do you want it?

Re: SIGN OF END TIMES - CORNINGWARE

THANK YOU SISTER!

Yes, when can we meet to discuss this? I love both the Strawberry and the Spice of Life patterns. Tell Widow Sarah that I am very willing to give it a good home. I'm sure she would want it to go to someone who appreciates good cookware, as opposed to being used by some school kid or something.

I will take whatever she is willing to part with. What I can't use right away, I can always store.
