Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion
Compare the average Jewish IQ with the average Israeli IQ. 115 and 98.
Perhaps sensible people prefer to trust their senses over testimonies. My IQ is 119. |

Does anyone know, I can't find which God he believes in, but America's highest IQ, Christopher Langan believes in God - 190 IQ.

Wow, so that means my internet IQ is now 300 :yahoo: Great game. I started at 100 when I joined this board and add 10 points every time someone wants to compare IQ's. BTW, I've had my IQ officially tested on 3 different occasions, I had a 40 point variable which basically came down to (IMO) how I was feeling that day. But according to the IQ people, that's impossible as there can only be a +/- 10 point spread. How about working on your BQ (Bible Quotient) instead? :thumbsup: |

So to level those two groups you'd need to have nothing written in English or French, and nothing relating to cattle breeding, helicopters or poodles. Which would eliminate quite a lot. There are progressive matrices but you might just as well throw a few colourblindness tests at them or monitor their responses to music, particularly music associated with the mass :pope: but then you'd just have a cohort of brainwashed hypnozombies who'd do whatever you told them so their IQ would be of no interest to anyone. |

Mr Langan is a fellow of the International Society for Complexity, Information, and Design (ISCID), a professional society which promotes intelligent design and as such, he enjoys a belief in God along with almost 7% of American intellectuals.:thumbsup: However, even at his high level, he misuses these skills and is, in fact, a poor Christian. On his website, he blatantly states: "since Biblical accounts of the genesis of our world and species are true but metaphorical," which is a lie, as the Whole Bible is true - why would God tell stories when He expects the Truth and is Truth? Why on earth (or in heaven) would God create a man and then not create him with intelligence to understand that truth that is KJV1611? Answer that! Mr Langan also has a tendency to wander of into theories of his own making (somewhat like a false prophet) that certainly do not coincide with the Bible: Quote:
And why not? Well because God said, Ge:1:26a: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:" God did not mention brains, in fact the word brain does not occur in the Bible. The Bible is completely brain-less! However, I hear you object, "What about Ge:3:22: And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and Ge:3:5: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. So here we see that the human brain is equal to that of a god. This massive IQ does not guarantee Salvation - It is likely that, in some delinquent minds, it leads to over-thinking. This is quite possibly what has happened to Mr Langan, as his faith has wandered and often, to me, it sounds like his imagination is making things up! |

It is really not about IQ at all.
It is strictly an issue with evolution of intelligent species, and Natural Selection™. In my research over the years in this most sociologically |

Messrs Much & Scopes;
True Believers do not suffer cognitive impairment. Indeed Christians are the only group spared, by grace, such distressing afflictions. False believers (satanists for example) face their upsidedown world with despair and uncertainty never knowing when they may offend the zeitgeist, becoming ostracised, wretched and forlorn. It changes as the writhing ocean, stormtossed, disconsolate. You can keep your cruel ocean. Christians choose the gentle sea of faith. |

This is amazing. I cannot stop laughing and I still think there is a goodchance that most of the posts are faked. Are people here really thatracist and bigoted? Either way this is too funny.

Re: Harvard study - average IQ by religion
We don't need religion to be loving. There is nothing wrong with us. The Christians that call us evil are going against their own beliefs. Anyway, if you are right in the end, you all will be in Hell with the rest of us for eternity. Most turn to God with expectation of reward, or fear of punishment. That is not a reason to turn to a belief, and you are pathetic for it. The reason Americans shun atheists is because there are incorrect and damaging stereotypes about us perpetuated in the media and in your churches.

So the Lord gave us a clear-cut picture of what baby eating, anal raping atheists are. We shun you because anyone with any sense shuns a rabid dog. Glory onto Him. :innocent: |
