Science Wrong, Bible Right

There are innumerable examples the prove how science is wrong and the ible (Holy Word of God) is right. Here's an example:

I encourage other True Christians™ who are moved by the Holy Spirit to post other examples.

The first thing in your list says "The Earth is a sphere" according to Isaiah yet you have an entire thread saying that the Earth is flat. I'm confused.

The earth has four corners.

Isaiah 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Acts 10:11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:

Revelation 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

Apparently, God wants you to be confused:

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

Stop worrying about foolish things, sweetie! :)

I don't know why you folks are trying to correct me. I'm not arguing with you, I'm simply pointing out that your information is conflicting. They can't both be true. Thanks for changing my user name, it makes me feel like you care. All hail Xenu!!

Don't even bother trying to understtand; all you need to do is believe.

1 Corinthians 2:5-7
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Felicity is going to marry a Godly True Christian™ man of her father's choosing. :nono:

As her father is a True Christian™ and she's presently unbetrothed, of course she is.

Just not to you.

Oh I do believe. We all know..The truth is out there. Who is Felicity's daddy? Perhaps he and I should talk, do some negotiating. :pimp:

He man. You're in the "unsaved trash" heap just like me. You should be on my side!! They sell her to me and, if you're nice, I might rent her to you once in a while.

I should probably put this in the "flat earth" thread since it's more in that vein but, out of curiosity have any of you heard of this guy? https://www.youtube.com/user/TheFoxS...view=0&sort=dd

He calls himself "Lord Steven Christ" and says that he is Jesus. Not just any old Jesus but THE Jesus..the Original Jesus. He said He was coming back but honestly I hope He's not really this guy..he's kind of a douche bag.

Once you figure out which side everyone's really on, maybe we can talk.

See, that's just it. They believe that human trafficking is sanctioned by the Creator of the universe who holds the power of eternal damnation over them and act accordingly, whereas you just have some sick fantasy (possibly related to deep-seated feelings of inadequacy and impotence).

All that is moot, anyway. You couldn't afford her in a million years.

I received an infraction from Pim Pendergast because apparently Felicity is only 16 and that make me wanting to marry her wrong. I can't find a way to reply to the PM that brother Pim sent so I'll lay it out here. I can't seem to pull the verse out of my head from Bible school days so perhaps one of you experts can help me. Where in the good book does it specifically say that there is an age limit on marriage? Where does it say that I can't marry Felicity if we so choose because she's 16? I'm aware that it's against mans law, in some states, and society frowns on it but we aren't subject to mans law correct? We are subject to God's law. I think you all just don't want it to happen because I'm "unsaved trash" to you. If I was a "True Christian" you'd have her bags packed and send her on her way. Don't be haters. Who knows, maybe a good Christian girl could straighten me out. :D

Nowhere.

Yes, we are.

Rom 13:1-6
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
6 For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.

There's also the issue of Felicity being a True Christian™ and you being unsaved trash.

2 Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Hi Dave C, and welcome to our friendly forums! I see you're confused. This isn't a debate site; you'll find no one here will take your bait. This thread is to share the Good News that science, and all the Darwinian foolishness, and every other theory out there under the sun cannot compete with the Truth and Beauty of the Holy Word of God. If you have something to share in that regard, I'd love to hear it!

Say, why not share with us your story! What happened to you to turn you away from the sweet embrace of Christ Jesus? Was it a priest who molested you? A teacher who laughed at the Bible? A girl who wouldn't "put out" until you gave her a ring and stood before a preacher? What's hurting you so much? You can share your heart with us. We want to help.

:)

Oh come on Mary, play along. I'm not debating God or Christianity with you. And to think all this infraction mess started over the love of a girl. Who's to say that God didn't bring me to this site to meet the woman he has set aside for me. (That's just a statement, no debate required) Anyway..this is a science thread so here's you some sciencey stuff...

The age of the Earth is 4.54 ± 0.05 billion years (4.54 × 109 years ± 1%).[1][2][3] This age is based on evidence from radiometric age dating of meteorite material and is consistent with the ages of the oldest-known terrestrial and lunar samples.
Following the scientific revolution and the development of radiometric age dating, measurements of lead in uranium-rich minerals showed that some were in excess of a billion years old.[4] The oldest such minerals analyzed to date – small crystals of zircon from the Jack Hills of Western Australia – are at least 4.404 billion years old.[5][6][7] Comparing the mass and luminosity of the Sun to those of other stars, it appears that the solar system cannot be much older than those rocks. Calcium-aluminium-rich inclusions – the oldest known solid constituents within meteorites that are formed within the solar system – are 4.567 billion years old,[8][9] giving an age for the solar system and an upper limit for the age of Earth. *** Copied and pasted from https://www.princeton.edu/~achaney/t...the_Earth.html ***

Radiometric dating has been shown to be completely unreliable, whereas the Word of God has proven time and time again to withstand the fancies and new theories of each age. You might wish to educate yourself better before continuing this foolish angle.
