Pentecostals: Demon possessed gibberish speakers for Satan.

The Pentecostals have been around since the 1800's. They are the ones who are the TV con men and traveling snake oil take the money and run false prophets our Lord warned us about.

They claim to have always been in the church and I believe that to be true to a certain extent. Satan does love to attack God's Church with heresies.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

The documentation that they are scoundrels and cheats goes on and on.

Benny Hinn's expose in A Question of Miracles.

Marjoe Gortner explaining that Pentecostalism is all a scam and how it is done in the 1970's. He even explains how so called speaking in tongues (more on that later) is a lie.

Robert Tilton
another speaking in tongues gifts of the Spirit liar exposed as the fraud he is. He fornicated with prostitutes and bilked people out of millions.

Jim Bakker an Assemblies of God pentecostal and founder of the Pass the Loot network was caught being a homosexual and a fraud.

Peter Popoff
a traveling sideshow circus pentecostal preacher. He knew all about people in the audience because his wife was radioing the information into an earpiece. It wasn't the Holy Spirit telling him.

This is merely a tiny fraction of the number of Pentecostals who have been caught lying and stealing throughout the years. I could go on and on.

On glossolalia

It's gibberish that means nothing. It's pure mimicry of others speaking in something that resembles a language. One person speaks in repetitive nonsense and then the other pretends to translate it. The beautiful thing about the translation is that the person who spoke it doesn't know what he or she said. That leaves it open to the "translator" to come up with whatever meaning he wants it to have.

The fraud Marjoe Gortner explains.
"Tongues is something you learn," he emphasized. "It is a releasing that you teach yourself. You are told by your peers, the church, and the Bible -- if you accept it literally -- that the Holy Ghost speaks in another tongue; you become convinced that it is the ultimate expression of the spirit flowing through you. The first time maybe you'll just go dut-dut-dut-dut, and that's about all that will get out. Then you'll hear other people and next night you may go dut-dut-dut-UM-dut-DEET-dut-dut, and it gets a little better. The next thing you know, it's ela-hando-satelay-eek-condele-mosandrey-aseya ... and it's a new language you've got down."
But the Pentecost is Biblical.

It sure is. Let's get to the scriptures.

Acts 2:2-4
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Whoa! Whoa! Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they did start speaking in strange gibberish.

Nah, I'll just keep reading the chapter to get the actual context.

Acts 2:5-8

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

So you can see the Pentecost was an actual miracle. Everyone could hear everyone else in his own language. They didn't start speaking in BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA-BA. They spoke in their own languages and the other people could understand it. There were no translators involved.

What does the Bible say about this ability to speak in tongues today?

1 Corinthians 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

It was a gift that the early apostles had. If the apostle Paul is to be believed, it will fade away since his time.

You can skip 1 Corinthians 14 now, but since someone is going to quote it at me, even there Paul is skeptical of all the people attempting it.

19 Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

What about all the Pentecostal flopping on the ground?

A place where the Bible mentions people acting like that is when they are in fact possessed.

Mark 3:11 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

Possessed? The Pentecostals?

Does it really come as such a surprise? Paul tells us to avoid vain babblings.

2 Timothy 2:16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Jesus tells us to avoid vain repetitions as the heathens use.

Matthew 6:7
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Who are you serving when you fall around on the ground speaking in strange tongues?

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Since Paul tells us that speaking in tongues has ceased, what are you doing? You are inviting in demons through arcane witchcraft. Ephesians 6:12

Any Pentecostal would recognize this magical incantation as speaking in tongues if it were said in his church.

That's right. You are invoking strange and ancient witchcraft and its demonic familiars.

If you are a Pentecostal, I want you to repent of your satanic gibberish. I want you to speak in your native tongue to God and quit trying to impress Him with your made up language.

The first step is to admit that you are angering God and that you are using a made up language that no one really understands. At least ask yourself why the "translators" of this language are always one of the people trying to get money from you.

The second and perhaps most important step is to quit giving these Pentecostal con men your hard earned money. They don't care about you. All they want is your donation. If they have to lie, cheat or con you to get it, they don't care.

And it's not just the TV preachers and traveling con men that do it. It's all Pentecostals, charismatics, Assemblies of God and all other speakers of the so called tongues. Once you are so gone that you are willing to summon demons to make people give you money, you have blasphemed the Holy Ghost and you will be damned no matter what.

What you, dear reader must do is starve the beast. Say no more million dollar a year salaries for these liars.

Thank you and God bless.

Godly sermon, Pastor. If the Pentecostals actually read their own proof texts, they would understand that what they do is not of God and never was of God:

1 Cor. 14:22-23: Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying [serveth] not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in [those that are] unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

1 Cor. 14:27-28: If any man speak in an [unknown] tongue, [let it be] by two, or at the most [by] three, and [that] by course; and let one interpret. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

Does either of those sound as though God has ever wanted a whole congregation to babble incoherently together?

I'll take our own Landover Baptist preachers--they deliver powerful sermons every Sunday with no need for the Pentecostal business of carrying on.

God speaks English--what is this business of speaking in tongues anyway?

You need to read all of the Bible. Not just the parts you like.

2nd Timothy 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"

So we have now established you are a liar...

God hates liars:

Proverbs 6:16-19 "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren."

Let me repeat. It's called the Bible.

READ IT!

Friend,

How is Christianity divided? There is TRUE Christianity that follows the full and complete teaching of Christ and some cults worshiping some made up magic man. Do you seriously think the Catholics or the Mormons are Christians in any meaningful way?

Tell me about the speaking in TONGUES.

How does the Bible describe it? In detail.

Is it: A man speaking, as though he speaks in his own language, but heard by others speaking in their own known languages?

Or is it: A man spouting gibberish that he doesn't understand, which nobody else can understand because it's not a language, but one person decides that he understands it and "translates"?

I think it's safe to say that I've read First Corinthians, since I quoted it above.

It doesn't make any sense to me. My sisters and I pretended to be from heathen lands when we were children and made up gibberish sounding "language" for fun. Pentecostals would have me think I was praising God while pretending to be some gypsy serving tea to our teddy bears?

I'll re-post those quotes for you, Brother!

We wouldn't want him to have to scroll up and look for it. The strain could overwhelm him.

Proof that Pentecostals are not loved by the Lord as much as we Baptists are. Link

If they were True Christians™, this snake bite would not have harmed him, as Jesus tells us.

Mark 16:17-19

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Jamie Coots, pastor of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Jesus Name Church of Middlesboro, Ky., died Saturday of a snake bite.

A snake-handling TV preacher died on Saturday of a snake bite.
Pastor Jamie Coots, the star of “Snake Salvation,” was bitten on the right hand at his Kentucky church, Middlesborough police said.
The Pentecostal holy man refused to go to the hospital or accept any medical treatment, police said.
Coots, whose show appeared on National Geographic’s television channel, believed snake handling was a commandment from God and a viper’s bite was God’s will.
“When I first started church I said if I ever went to a hospital or a doctor over a snake bite I would quit church,” Coots said in one episode.

He had previously survived a bite that cost him most of the middle finger on his right hand. Instead seeking medical attention for the gruesome injury, he let it rot to black, exposing a quarter inch of bone before it broke off.
He kept the stub of the finger in a glass jar for his wife.
“To me it’s as much of a commandment from God when he said, ‘they shall take up serpents’ as it was when he ‘thou shall not commit adultery,” Coots said on the show of snake handling.

Re: Pentecostals: Demon possessed gibberish speakers for Satan.

True Tongues was simply a PROPHECY in a foreign Language of this World
For example Greek
SOMETIMES someone was there who had the Language as MOTHERTONGUE
(This was the case "interpretor present")

SOMETIMES no one was there who had the Language as MOTHERTONGUE
(This was the case "unknown tongue")
But even then the Speaker himself knew that God had spoken through him,
Because he had seen on other days that sometimes
There happened to be people present who had the Language as MOTHERTONGUE
So he knew it must have been a real Language
And he himself was edified in FAITH ( 1 Cor 14:4)
And he himself had not intended to speak at all,
Instead God spoke suddenly and unexpectedly through him a message
According to Gods own sovereign Will.
The False so called "Tongues) of the Pentecostal Cult
Is the exact OPPOSITE
And comes always exclusively according to the Will of MAN and not the Will of God
The poor deceived pentecostal Fool
Can do his Pentecostal-Cult-Gibberish whenever he feels like doing it.

The true tongues came ONLY totally unexpected according to the sovereign
Will of God
ONLY when God chose to speak as is always the case by true PROPHECY ( 2 Peter 1:21)
True Prophecy is an extremly great MIRACLE
The Prophecy in foreign Tongues was a SIGN
It was just like what happened to King Saul in 1 Samuel 10:6
Where God spoke suddenly and totally unexpected a Prophecy through Saul
As Sign that God had chosen him to become King of Israel.

True Tongues was one of the "Signs of an Apostle" ( 2 Cor 12:12)
Which Jesus promised to the Apostles as Confirmation of their WORD (Mark 16:20)
The WORD which the Apostles preached was the RESURRECTION
Jesus chose the Apostles solely for this purpose to confirm on behalf of Jesus the Resurrection,
Because Jesus was NOT allowed to show his Resurrection openly and publically
To the World ( Acts 10:41)
This "Word" of Resurrection was the "greater Works" in John 14:12
That "Show us the Father" (John 14:9) that show Jesus is God
This "greater Works" is also in John 5:20
The "greater Works" in John 14:12 are the WORDS that Jesus spoke ( John 14:10)
This is the coirrect context of "greater Works"
He did not mean Miracles instead this "greater Works" is the GREATER "Word"
Of the Resurrection.
This Prophecy in foreign Tongues was one of the "Signs of an Apostle" ( 2 Cor 12:12
Of course other people for instance Stephan did Miracles but it originated from
The Apostles because these Signs were simply the Confirmation of the WORD
Which the Apostles preached.
And where people prophesied in foreign Tongues it was part of the Signs
Which Jesus had promised to the Apostles as Confirmation of their WORD of Resurrection.
ONLY JESUS CHRIST IS GOD
ALL other Men are ONLY MEN and not "God"
Therfore no one can deny the extremly obvious FACT
That it was a extremly great EXCEPTION that God himself Jesus Christ
Allowed the Apostles to do great Miracles.
The sole and only purpose of this Exception was that Jesus was not allowed to show
His Resurrection openly to the World ( Acts 10:41)
If this was not necessary then only jesus would have done Miracles and no one else.
The Apostles did Miracles BEFORE Jesus died
And after his Death the Miracles stopped
And then later after his Resurrection the Apostles started doing Miracles again
This simple FACT is undeniable PROOF that Jesus rose from the dead
Otherwise the "Signs of an Apostle" would have STOPPED
These Signs will NEVER be repeated because EITHER you BELIEVE Jesus is GOD
In that you believe he rose from the dead
Or you do NOT BELIEVE that Jesus rose from the dead
And he that denies Jesus is risen from the dead
As in End-Effect denied that jesus is God.
The Signs of an Apostle were the "SIGN OF JONAH" which is the Resurrection
And jesus said this Sign of Jonah is the last Sign
And God confirmed the WORD of Resurrection which the Apostles preached ( Heb 2:4)
Also the Laying on of Hands to receive Gods Spirit was a EXCEPTION
To confirm the Apostles WORD and then the non-Jews prohesied in foreign Languages
To show that non-Jews can receive Forgiveness
This great Miracle of Prophecy in foreign Tongues was essential
Because Jesus himself BEFORE his Death had said "i am sent only to the lost sheep of israel
And jesus had forbidden the Apostles BEFORE his Death to preach to non-Jews
So a powerful visible Sign was necessary to show openly that non-Jews can be forgiven.
The BIGGEST LIE though of Pentecostal-Cult is they speak of "Grace"
But with their actions they trust in WORKS
The Pentecostals claim you get "stronger" or receive "more" of the "Spirit"
When you praise God for hours on End
But the ONLY STRENGTH there there is and can be is FAITH in GRACE
And he that has BELIEVED in GRACE has already 100% the true Spirit of Jesus Christ
He that trusts in empty pointless Works of never ending praise is simply trusting
In Works and thinks he is "good" if he praises God alot
But he who thinks he is "good" is TOTALLY SEPARATED from the true forgiveness of GRACE
Abraham NEVER killed Isaac instead he believed in GRACE ( Romans 4)
And being a "Doer of the Word" is loving others where you clothe the poor naked person
With the Word of Grace
Pentecostals trust in empty Works of praising God and doing mumbo jumbo mickey mouse Gibberish which is babbling of their own poor deceived Heart which of course brings Demons
Because they have been deceived by a extremly dumb unbiblical Lie
