A clearer endorsement of Home Teaching I cannot conceive!
It was with stunned horror, brethren (and inevitably sistren silently reading and consulting their husbands or fathers) that I read the following sinful celebration of public education debauchery!
Quote:
Quote:
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 1 Timothy 2:12 Would this poor boy's soul be so endangered if he hadn't had a succession of wanton women paraded in front of him when he should have been concentrating on his Bible? It gets worse! Quote:
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, Philippians 3:8 But obviously dung is what these heathens wish to teach. That and longing to fornicate with tutors. Quote:
I despair at the fate of the godless among us as they are drowned in secular mathematics and science. Even geography now seems to be more concerned with measuring and touting godless geology and fossil worship rather than instructing children on where and how lesser peoples live and what dreadful costumes they wear. Lift up your hearts, you people who steadfastly shield your children from this kind of abomination! |
Re: A clearer endorsement of Home Teaching I cannot conceive!
Well, I didn't follow the link proffered because I have no husband and the ONLY internet content that I trust is right here at LBC.
However, to my feeble female mind, there were some additional sinister indications buried in the syntax of some of those assertions. Naturally, it is not my place to instruct, but if I may meekly observe, the person quoted in those statements may not even be an American, which puts this person even further down the hierarchy of acceptablility. This is all the more reason, (someone other than myself might point out) to dismiss anything this misguided-- and no doubt misbegotten-- individual might have to say on any subject whatsoever. Not that it is my place to put forth such a bold declaration. I realize that I am a weaker vessel whom Our Good Lord intended to serve menfolk in exchange for their protection and guidance. Silently Yours, Handmaiden |

For a mere woman you show some wisdom. Your father has instructed you well.
You divine correctly that this foul sedition comes from the distant land of New Zealand. No wonder the seditious satanic magic promoting film Lord of the Rings was made there. I hesitate to profane your delicate girlish mind with their depravity with beasts of the field but you must fear to venture there with good reason. |
Re: A clearer endorsement of Home Teaching I cannot conceive!
This is a response to the quote: "No wonder the seditious satanic magic promoting film Lord of the Rings was made there". Lord of the Rings was written by J.R.R Tolkein who was a great admirer of the story of Merlin. The main character in his trilogy (Gandalf) was modeled after Merlin and the protagonist was modeled after the charater of Arthur. Now the story of Merlin is centuries old. In fact, it was a biblical tale. The raising of the new hope (who was Arthur), the saviour of the world. Arthur stood as a metaphor for Jesus Christ. Now when you look at it that way, Frodo is also a metaphor for Jesus.
Just sayin :innocent: |

There is absolutely NOTHING in the Bible about Merlin or Gandalf or Arthur or Excalibur or Frodo or etc. etc. Why do you Jesus-haters insist on putting your satanic lies in the Bible? :badmood: Oh wait, the Bible DOES mention wizards: (Leviticus 20:27) "A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them." Yours in Christ, Z. People calm down, its just a book, and apparently my "feeble female mind" (incase you couldnt tell, that is sarcasm and i am very able minded considering i have straight A and Bs in my classes) can see that its based on a biblical tale, and not some way atheists worship.
Its a work of fiction, and an enjoyable one at that. Also, of must piss you off that many of my female and male teachers are attractive, and one is even a lesbian, and another wears the pants in her marriage and is superior to her husband. |

Logarithms are tools of the devil. As for slide rules, well, the only rules you need to know are those that God set down for us to live by in the Holy Bible.
Plus, they call them headmasters because they're all homos. When these liberal elite prep schools teach Greek, they teach Greek. |
