Caught my son masturbating, what should I do?

Yesterday my wife was cooking dinner as usual. When the dinner was ready I went to call my younger son but when I opened the door he sat naked on his bed masturbating over a pornographic magazine! Of course I gave him a hard beating and made him pray to the LORD until bedtime. Me and my wife are in shock, I have beaten my sons all their lives but sometimes they don't seem to understand the will of God. I am very concerned about this and I simply don't know what to do. I have always given them a daily spanking before bedtime but I feel like they need more beatings so they can seriously feel God's anger. Should I beat them more often or is there a better way to make them understand?

As it stands, he is on his way to an eternity of searing pain being burned in hell. Do whatever you think it takes to get that sin out. No beating you can do will be as bad as what God has in store for kids who don't get the devil off their privates.

Masturbation is completely natural.

Even though I agree with you I still find it so very disgusting. GAH!

Genesis 38:9-10:

And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother. And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.

Matthew 5:28:
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Really? Dude, I masturbate. I'm a 17 year old girl like you.
Everyone masturbates. I don't understand what's gross about it.
It's okay if you do, I just don't understand why.

Edit: According to modern science and biology (not fairy tales), masturbation is completely natural.

Scientists are liars, science is nothing but Satan's way of turning people against the true teachings of the LORD. Masturbation is not only disgusting, but it is also against God's will. I find it very strange that your parents haven't beaten the fear of God into you. You should pray to the LORD and turn away from this filthy habit if you don't want to burn in the eternal fires of hell. May God help you.

Oh, Drizzle. I'd be so embarrassed to even admit that. I have no issue that you do that, but I could never imagine myself doing that. Just the thought makes me pale in the face.

Nonsense! God hates modern science and biology. If He thought that they had any validity, He would have put them in the 1611 KJV Bible. Based on the passages that Brother Jonsson presented, it is clear that in the eyes of God, masturbation is not natural and is a sinful abomination. Do you honestly think we should not go by the laws of the Creater of the Universe™, rather than by secular science whom He hates?

Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. (Proverbs 30:6)

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.(Deuteronomy 4:2)

What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it. (Deuteronomy 12:32)

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:6-12)

Anyways, brother, it seems as if your only option is to cut off your son's hands and/or tallywhacker.

Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire. (Matthew 18:8-9)

And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: (Mark 9:43-47)

Science is real. Science is tangible. Science is irrefutable and it contradicts what you believe so you attack it, demean it to no end. You're like threatened little children.
Science will always win. Let God make a million dollars appear before you this instant of I'm wrong.

Do have the million dollars? I didn't think so.

Oh, and hell will freeze over before I give up sex and masturbation.

I don't mean to make you feel uncomfortable.
Why does it embarrass you? Does sex in general embarrass you?

Yes-Yes! I must agree. Science is what most facts are based on. Without it we wouldn't have the medicine we have today. Everything those "true" christians have has something to with science.

Biology is the strudy of living things. They're living things, aren't they? Well, they're apart of Biology.

Exactly! Science is fact. That's what scares fundamentalist. They live in a delicate fantasy world that science can crush in an instant.

And you are quite right, as long as they're alive, their bodies are a magnificent testament to biology. :D

Re: Cought my son masturbating, what should I do?

It's completely natural and healthy to do so. Science is based on fact. Not on faith. I dont have anything against religion, just that it never made sense to me. Am I supposed to believe in something without proof? No, i'm logical, and i wouldnt believe something to be true and absolute with all my heart without solid proof. Your beliefs defend each other in a paradox like pattern.
Science is proven. To even be Science it has to be almost certain. Everything has an explanation, not just; because this or that.

Scientists also study the sun, does that make the sun scientific? Did the scientists create the sun? Of course not. God created the sun long before scientists existed. The same with people, just because scientists claim they invented mankind through evilution doesn't make it true.

And we're not "things ", we're God-fearing humans.

Science is not proven, as you say it has to be almost certain, but it can never be completely certain. The only thing in the world that is proven correct is the KJV 1611 Bible.

That's why religion doesn't make sense to you, you're a sensible person. If you are trying to find your way back to God, leave this site. You won't find a loving, just, indiscriminate God here, unfortunately.

I asked that very question a few weeks ago, when I discovered my son treating his body like a cheap carnival ride. I lit up his back side so hard I broke my hand!
Brother James Hutchins offered this solution and it worked like a charm. Cook a big polish or kielbasa sausage in oil, when it is extremely hot remove it from the grease and have your son grab it tightly in his hands, remind him that God hates people who:repent: masturbate.
