Parents, have you had "the talk" with your kids?
It seems that in the wake of the accidental shooting of Trayvon Martin, colored parents across the country are sitting their children down and having "the talk," giving their kids helpful hints for avoiding becoming the victims of accidental shootings.
Preventing a repeat of the Trayvon tragedy is a two-way street, however, and it is incumbent upon white parents everywhere to recognize the fact that merely instructing your children on proper target acquisition and shooting technique may not be sufficient. If you're like a lot of parents, you may not know quite how to broach the subject, or what topics to cover. Fortunately, National Review contributor John Derbyshire has penned a handy set of talking points for you to employ with your sons and daughters. In the interest of racial harmony and saving lives, I'm sure you will want to have a "talk" very similar to this one with your sons and daughters: The Talk: Nonblack Version Quote:
Remember, friends, Galatians 3:28 says "there is neither Jew nor Greek," but it doesn't say anything about their being neither black nor white! |
Re: Parents, have you had "the talk" with your kids?
I'm white, most of my neighbors are black, and we all get along just fine. We speak to each other on the street, invite each other over for cookouts and such, visit each other's homes just to have coffee and chat.
Just this afternoon, I was changing the brake pads on my car and couldn't find my C-clamp. My neighbor was out weed-eating his lawn and I borrowed a C-clamp from him. |

Are you sure it was his C-clamp you borrowed and not the one he stole from you? |
Re: Parents, have you had "the talk" with your kids?
I thought we weren't supposed to use the C-word. Isn't it offensive to women or some such?

I'm glad your neighbors don't frequently riot. What do they think of you moving into their neighborhood? |
Re: Parents, have you had "the talk" with your kids?
I'd say they were surely excited about the presence of a white person raising property values, but they're probably renters, and don't care.

How do you spread the Word of God to the layabout heathens? Do they run up to you excitedly and ask you to read from the KJV? What passage do you feel best applies to them? I have always felt this best decribes a neighbohood like yours: Romans 1:18-32 King James Version (KJV) 18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. |

I don't spread anyone's word to them, they aren't layabouts, and most of them, as far as I can tell, are Christian. |

Lezzer? Do you mean lesbian? No, I'm not. And even if I were, I don't see how that would affect property values. |

I don't want kids, therefore I don't have kids. Why would anyone go having kids they don't want? That's not fair to the parent or to the kids. My neighbors have a variety of jobs, from menial to executive. And being a janitor and being a Christian are not mutually exclusive. |

If you want to mix with Hamites, I am the last person to tell you why you shouldn't. But do not come whining to us when you have been raped by some buck doped up on malt liquor and all shot up on the pot.:fear2: Are you one of those androgynous bull dykes? You sure sound like one. Also, just in case you were wondering, no, 'it does not please'. |

Shot up on pot? You don't shoot pot, you smoke it, and it doesn't make people aggressive, it makes them passive. I'm not androgynous, and I'm not a lesbian. Why you insist on believing otherwise is beyond me, but if it makes you happy, it does me no harm for you to believe it. |

If your parents really loved you, they would of taught you about God and how by His Good Grace, we are here. I do not care how you spike the drugs, if God wanted people stoned all the time and totally out of it, He would of made us that way. I do not know what you are. I do know you refuse the simple wishes of God. Something is not right about you. Is it because you are obese and have a lot of cats? |
