Alert: Phew Research Poll Coming Out

This is to pass along a little advance notice that the Pew Research group is publishing the most rediculous poll results they have ever done. They have a checkered past, but this one takes the cake:

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/28/us...gion.html?_r=3

Here they claim that atheists they polled knew more about the Bible than Christians. The implication being that the more you study the Bible, the less likey it is that you will believe it.

I stand before you with evidence that this cannot possibly be true. The evidence is what you are looking at at this moment, Landover Baptist Church. At LBC you have at the same time, in one group of people, the most fervent believers in Jesus Christ and the most knowable scholars in the world on the Bible.

The Phew researchers stink.

These results are not surprising considering the were asking about false religions. If they asked True Christians about the Lord and the Bible then the results would be completely different.

Quote:

The phone interviews were conducted in English and Spanish in May and June. There were not enough Muslim, Buddhist or Hindu respondents to say how those groups ranked.

Clergy members who are concerned that their congregants know little about the essentials of their own faith will no doubt be appalled by some of these findings:

¶ Fifty-three percent of Protestants could not identify Martin Luther as the man who started the Protestant Reformation.

¶ Forty-five percent of Catholics did not know that their church teaches that the consecrated bread and wine in holy communion are not merely symbols, but actually become the body and blood of Christ.

¶ Forty-three percent of Jews did not know that Maimonides, one of the foremost rabbinical authorities and philosophers, was Jewish.

The question about Maimonides was the one that the fewest people answered correctly. But 51 percent knew that Joseph Smith was Mormon, and 82 percent knew that Mother Theresa was Roman Catholic.

The poll proves what we have known all along; Atheists are instructed by Satan. How else can you explains the biblical knowledge of the unbelievers? The only thing an atheists need to know is the nearest gay bar and how to forge fossils.

Bah, those atheists study the Bible looking for loopholes to excuse their perversions, or anything they can call a "contradiction" because they read with a skeptical eye instead of reading with the Holy Spirit within them, which makes all clear. They misunderstand the Bible. That's all there is to it.

I disagree, Brother.

All this study proves is that the U.S.A. is stuffed to the gills with Salad-Bar Christians that don't know the Bible.

I have been in and out of this country for years and NEVER ONCE have I witnessed a parent taking his or her disobedient children to be stoned as the LORD commands!

And do you think it is just Joos that keep the abominable Red Lobster in business? I think not!

The sad fact is, most people that call themselves Christians are just hedging their bets by going to a random church once in a while instead of studying the Bible to learn what it means to be Truly Saved, Praise JESUS!

This is very confusing. All a person has to do is actually read the Bible (not hard to do) and they will find the Truth® about God.
