Mailbag: Pat Robertson says God punishing Haitian slave rebels

We sent the following email to members of our email list:

Pat Robertson says the earthquake in Haiti is God punishing the Haitians for being Satan's allies:

PAT ROBERTSON: And, you know, Kristi, something happened a long time ago in Haiti, and people might not want to talk about it. They were under the heel of the French [in 1803]. You know, Napoleon III and whatever. And they got together and swore a pact to the devil. They said, “We will serve you if you will get us free from the French.” True story. And so, the devil said, “OK, it’s a deal.”
And they kicked the French out. You know, the Haitians revolted and got themselves free. But ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after the other. Desperately poor. That island of Hispaniola is one island. It’s cut down the middle. On the one side is Haiti; on the other side is the Dominican Republic. Dominican Republic is prosperous, healthy, full of resorts, et cetera. Haiti is in desperate poverty. Same island. They need to have and we need to pray for them a great turning to God...

Do you agree?

I pray for the innocent people effected by this tragedy. I also know that there are consequences to peoples' behavior. I don't say God pours out His judgement on anyone because we know we won't be here when He starts to pour out His judgement, however, He does discipline people and there are consequences to "our" behavior. Haiti has had it really bad over the past couple of years with rains and landslides but Haiti is also one of the "mother countries" for Santeria and Voodoo (2 satanic worshipping cults).

I heard on the Radio that Hatti is one of the poorest places in the world. Why would a quake have to strike a place already so devastated by poverty, while CA sits up high on the hog solid as a rock even after shaking all day everyday?

I don't know, I mean I do live here for crying out loud-- but after yesterdays disgusting gay court trial in San Francisco, I would have not been the least bit surprised to wake up and see that CA got split in half.

The bible speaks of these times. There will be Godly people who have to suffer along with ungodly, poor with rich, and so forth. I know in Haiti there is alot of Voodoo and Hoodoo practiced. This is in no way holy, and many of the people are spiritually dead.

Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows.

I've heard about lots of voodoo over there. I just read an article the other day about how child sacrifices are on the rise for rituals by witchdoctors.

Pat is right. In Haiti voodoo is very common. In many places of Haiti, it is very spiritually dark.

God hates Haiti. The Haitian population is 80% Roman Catholic; Protestants of various denominations account for the other 20%. Yet voodoo may be considered the national religion of Haiti, since most Haitians practice at least some aspect of voodoo or are affected by the religion in some way.

Pat has valid points. Somestimes the truth sounds hurtful, but needs to be said. It is very true that the island of Haiti is riddled with satanic practices.

It's true, during French rule, Haiti made a pact with Satan to be freed from the French. This is true. I saw it on Fox News.

Pat is right-----I live in Soth Fla and the haitians are the lowest form of negro---more violent, uncivilized and ignorrant than other negroes.

I know that is hard to believe.

For years we had to hear how 'hard-working' and 'docile' they were and now the truth is exposed---they are excrement with two legs, two arms and a 'head'

They now dominate the drug and gang violence down here while still somehow managing to engender simpathy from most white sheeple.

A few years ago Todd wrote about Haiti in "Nearing Midnight". If I remember correctly, he wrote about how God has turned his back on Haiti, and how past Haitian leaders have more than defied God. It was really a great explanation of the very sad state of affairs there.

I'm guessing ZOG is able to create earthquakes.

It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility.

And what could be better for the genocidal ZOG than tens of thousands more violent, stupid, indolent Haitian negro "refugees" in the American southeast?

See, this is when I get confused about God. Isn't Haiti supposed to be a place where we send tons of missionaries to help those people AND spread the word? Sometimes I just don't understand. Well, most of the time I don't.

In these PC correct days where Islam is made out to be a "religion of peace", hideous looking black babies are called "beautiful", retards are "gifted", savages are "helpless", people whose sexual behavior is deviant are "born that way" and they are o.k., but merely looking at the photo of a naked child is viewed as the terrible crime of pedophilia.

God got it right this time. Where Haiti is concerned, we should let God do His work. God is as of late attempting to correct the follies of men. First, God was waving His finger at the global warming crowd and now God attacks Haiti.

Drudge reporting 100,000-500,000 dead. :D

I read about the voodoo. Many practice it along side of their christianity. They make offerings and give gifts to their dead relatives. They believe that the dead can cause sickness and harm as well as help. Some of the practices "allow for the dead to possess them". Scary stuff. It's very sad. Praying that this act of God will draw them closer to the Lord and show them that the dead can do nothing for them.

A friend of mine was a commercial pilot. He told me that when flying over Haiti and the Dominican Republic you can tell when you cross over into Haiti because all the trees are gone. The Haitians being the ignorant negroids that they are have wiped out all the forests. What they get is what they deserve.

Does anyone else notice that its mostly third world countries that get nailed with all the acts of God?

I know that North America, Europe and Australia etc have their fare share of natural disasters. It seems like the third world countries are hit the hardest.

The evil darkness of voodoo is rampant everywhere there.

I can't help but believe that God allowed the earthquake to strike a blow at the spiritual darkness and to call people to repentance.

They murdered the white men and sold the white women into slavery and the media think we should feel sympathy for them? Haiti is another example of what happens when you get rid of the whites.

Don't donate. The Red Cross is so full of Red Tape that a lot of money goes to thier Org and not the needed plus they preach goverment not the Lord.

Better to give a prayer that many will seek the Lord Jesus through all this.

Haiti is one the poorest country in the western hemisphere both economically and spiritually. It is probably the darkest place in the western hemisphere, a country deep in voodoo witchcraft. Many people there practice voodoo alongside "christianity". We live in a fallen world and bad things happen, but it also may be an attempt by God to show the people that their witchcraft cant save them, only He can.

If most of the people live in one-story shacks with corrugated tin roofs, how could thousands of people die?

I suspect the politicians in Haiti are waiting for hurricanes and any other disasters so they can milk them for billions in aid, and afterwards, the people are still living in shacks and the aid makes a few top Black politicians in Haiti rich.

I always have a hard time with how the disasters always seem to strike in parts of the world where they don't have the infrastructure to withstand the earthquakes nor the money to rebuild after. Much of it seems to happen unbelieving parts of the world to. But then I also can find a bit of comfort knowing that many of the children who died ended up with Jesus, when they probably would have grown up to be unbelievers and lost forever.

I just received an email from my cousin. She had been in Haiti on a missions trip, and had just returned to the US on Sunday.

Her email brought tears to my eyes because although she was asking for prayers for the people there, she told me that there were lots of souls won for Jesus during her trip. And I believe even more now that her trip was all in God's perfect timing. Saved 'em just before killing 'em, no time wasted.

I am skeptical of this death toll. They live in light-weight shanties, and most probably hang by their tails in trees all day. So how could the ground shaking a little bit really kill so many?

I doubt they have any real census there, so the death estimate is pulled from the rear end of persons and organisations who benefit from exaggerating the damage - ie, basically everyone in the anti-White establishment.

Pat Robertson's comments make sense. It would explain the terrible suffering those people have undergone. Has Fox News confirmed it yet?

Well, the Haitians did revolt against their French masters, and I would have trouble faulting anyone trying to get away from that bunch of cheese eating surrender monkeys.

However, the Haitians failed to purge the Papists from their midst and failed to embrace the Holy King James Bible. Sad that they put in the leg work to accomplish 1/3 of the task, and then just blew off the rest.

So it is evident how they wound up in these dire straits, and we see the same mistakes being made again:

the Catholics will rebuild their cathedral
the Catholics will replace their smashed bishop
foreign aid will consist of food, medicine, money, etc, but the one thing Haiti really needs, King James Bibles, will remain in short supply.

Haiti is doomed to more disasters until they wise up and get square with Jesus !!

"Wise Up and Get Square With Jesus!" What a great name for a song....

But you are OH so right, Brother Oak-- until they start reading, memorizing, quoting, and repeating the KJV--- and taking its admonitions to heart--- it wouldn't even matter if they were Blond-Haired, Blue-Eyed commodities traders.....

The Hat-eees really DID make a pact with the Devil!

Quote:

Government Of The Devil, By The Devil, And For The Devil
By Tom Barrett (03/11/04)

"Haiti is the only country in the entire world that has dedicated its government to Satan. Demonic spirits have been consulted for political decisions, and have shaped the country's history." Thus speaks Reverend Doug Anderson, who grew up in Haiti with missionary parents, and served there along with his wife Dawn as a missionary until 1990. The leaders of Haiti make no attempt to hide their allegiance to Satan. Haiti’s government is a government of the devil, by the devil, and for the devil.

It is a matter of well-documented historical fact that the nation of Haiti was dedicated to Satan 200 years ago. On August 14, 1791, a group of houngans (voodoo priests), led by a former slave houngan named Boukman, made a pact with the Devil at a place called Bois-Caiman. All present vowed to exterminate all of the white Frenchmen on the island. They sacrificed a black pig in a voodoo ritual at which hundreds of slaves drank the pig’s blood. In this ritual, Boukman asked Satan for his help in liberating Haiti from the French. In exchange, the voodoo priests offered to give the country to Satan for 200 years and swore to serve him. On January 1, 1804, the nation of Haiti was born and thus began a new demonic tyranny.

At the time of the pact Haiti was France's richest colony, and was known as the “Pearl of the Antilles” for its singular beauty. But it soon became one of the world's poorest and most benighted nations. Scoffers may say that there is no connection between the fact that Haiti was the richest nation in the hemisphere, and then became the poorest after selling its national soul to Satan. But the scoffers can’t come up with a better explanation.

Voodoo is a practice based on a mixture of African spiritism and witchcraft. Depending on the source of one’s research, between 75 and 90 percent of Haitians practice voodoo. This seems to fly in the face of the fact that the country is predominantly Catholic. But, like their African ancestors, voodoo practitioners have no problem embracing multiple religions. In fact, most who practice voodoo believe they must be Catholic first.

Until recently, voodoo was practiced in secret. Practitioners would go to the Catholic Church on Sunday, and attend voodoo ceremonies deep in the woods at other times. Voodoo was forbidden during the colonial times, and the 32 Haitian governments that followed independence also suppressed the practice because of world condemnation. But on April 8, 2003, President Jean-Bertrand Aristide approved Voodoo as an officially recognized religion in Haiti (see links below). Voodoo priests can now perform marriages and other ceremonies previously reserved for Christian religions. "An ancestral religion, Voodoo is an essential part of national identity," Aristide said in the decree recognizing Voodoo.

I would like to encourage everyone who was going to contribute to the Red Cross or other liberal organizations to assist the Haitian people to donate to the 700 Club relief fund instead. You can get the website from this video:

Obama is ready to send $100 million to these Haitians, who brought it on themselves, with their Catholik, heathen ways while good Christians in Iowa are unable to contribute to Landover Baptist's latest fundraiser because of the hard times. Didn't anyone tell Obama that Haiti is in the tropics? These people can fend for themselves, eating fruits from the trees and such. They don't need clothes and shelter because its HOT in the tropics.

If the US feels compelled to send aid workers to the island, then it should be specially trained Christian teams to teach abstinence-only sex programs to the teenage population so that the women will be virgins on their wedding day. Couple that with several thousand marines to keep law and order while the oil company geologists check out the place.
