Sweden celebrates Easter with witches, sex and satan!

Sorry if i got the titlte wrong, its not my fault that the Swedes thinks that Easter is the same thing as halloween

This is outrageous! Did you think that it couldnt get more satanic than the easter bunny? Then you should take a look at how the Swedes celebrates easter!

So how is Easter celebrated in Sweden?

In Sweden, common Easter traditions include egg painting. Children dressed up as Easter witches with long skirts, colorful headscarves and painted red cheeks, go from house to house in the neighborhood and present the occupants with paintings and drawings in the hope of getting sweets in return. According to Swedish folklore, during Easter the witches fly to Blåkulla (the Blue Mountain) to meet the devil.

Small branches and twigs of willow or birch are a common sight in every Swedish house during the Eater holidays. Feathers and small decorations are also placed on these twigs in a vase.

For lunch/dinner on Holy Saturday, families traditionally feast on a smörgåsbord of herring, salmon, potatoes, eggs and other kinds of food. Most businesses are closed in Sweden during the Easter holidays. Keep the national holidays in mind when you plan your trip and activities.

"Easter" in Swedish is Påsk.
And here you can read about what Blåkulla is, the place where the Swedish witches go to on easter every year
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blockula

Quote:

Blockula (Blåkulla in modern Swedish) was a legendary meadow where the Devil held his Earthly court during a witches' Sabbat. This meadow could only be reached by a magical flight. It was described as "a delicate large Meadow, whereof you can see no end".
There was said to be a large gate located in the meadow that led to a smaller meadow. In the smaller meadow there stood a house. In an enormous room in this house: "[…] there stood a very long Table, at which the Witches did sit down: And […] hard by this Room was another Chamber, where there were very lovely and delicate Beds."
The Devil was dressed "in a gray Coat, and red and blue Stockings: He had a red Beard, a high-crown’d Hat, with Linnen of divers Colours, wrapt about it, and long Garters upon his Stockings". The Devil then "would go with them that he liked best, into a Chamber, where he committed venerous Acts with them: and this indeed all confessed, That he had carnal knowledge of them, and that the Devil had Sons and Daughters by them, which he did Marry together, and they did couple, and brought forth Toads and Serpents."
This really shows Swedes for what they really are, a bunch of satanists and wiccans who wants their daughters to have sex with satan! The disturbing fact is that Blåkulla actually exists, visiting Blåkulla was illegal when Europe still was Christian(before they went back to their original satanic roots in the 20th century), and people have been sentenced to death for visiting Blåkulla during the time when it was a capital crime. So yes, unfortuently, this place exists, how else could people be convicted for visiting it?

Besides, Easter is a Christian holiday where you are supposed to praise Jesus, and not some wiccan orgy!

I think they've got this wrong.

Just wanted to say Hello everyone before answering to this topic.
I'll start with asking a question, how do kids in the US celebrate Halloween then?

Other than that, some stuff I want to point out:

The Easter Bunny was not even something which Sweden was first with, and still aren't alone with. It's even not unusal to just call it the Spring Bunny, or something like that.

Saying that swedes celebrate Easter with "...witches, sex and satan." is completely out of context.
This is simply an old saying, that the WITCHES went out during easter, not the regular swede. The witches who people have allways been afraid of, and killed for, as long as that word bore any signifacance.

Believe what you want, but don't go around drawing the worst possible conclusion out of something that barely touches the stuff you post.

So swedes kill people for witches?

Good Lord, you people are even worse than I thought! :fear2:

Sorry, that looked wrong to me as well reading it at this point.
No no no. Women were killed for even being accused for being a witch.
Any man, woman or child could pretty much point at a woman and say she was a witch, and they'd pretty much be killed a few days later.

Sounds like Sweden is a nice place to live for women. :shok:

Well, during that time period it most definately wasn't. Now I don't think it's much worse than most other parts of the world.

Because you killed all the women and now you're all gay?

I like your thinking? That Sweden would be more like the rest of the world because we killed all the women and the whole population became gay?

Mind you, that even being suspected of having had anything to do with a witch would net you a neat stone around the ankle for your coming swimming trip in the closest river, so it wasn't ONLY women, but mostly.

I was going to add that to my last post, but couldn't find any edit feature, and wasn't able to post a new reply until you replied. :)

It's no secret that Christianity stops people from being gay.

And yes, most of the world has embraced faggotry, hedonism and idolatry. If you search this site you'll find God hates more than just Sweden.

Oh how I wish the depravity was confined to your frozen little eskimo island wasteland. :(

In this case, according to your previous logic, it would've been christianity that MADE Sweden gay.

Island?
...I have nothing to link to show this, but I would be very suprised if it would even have been recorded, though I'd be way more suprised if the first homosexual person was in Sweden.

Whats wrong with that? If they were accused of being witches, they probably were witches!

The fact is, ALL sin is witchcraft, in the loving eyes of Jesus.

Quote:

1 Samuel 15:23 “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”
Sin is rebellion. Anyone who uses his free will to choose to remain in sin is a practicing witch.
