The Miracles of Jesus

Dear Friends,

During his short stay on Earth, Jesus Christ performed countless miracles. Miracles confirmed by several independent eye witness reports. Proof of a magnitude that would be strong enough in court and strong enough in science. Unfortunately, stubborn atheists, blinded by cognitive dissonance, refuse to recognize this indisputable proof.

And the miracles recorded in the Bible are only the tip of the iceberg! John 21:25: "And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen."

Below is a list of the miracles of Jesus described in the New Testament, along with corresponding Bible passages. As much as possible, these miracles of Jesus are presented in chronological order.

And the might of God doesn't stop there. The Old Testament predicts the future with an accuracy no atheist can ignore! Below is also a list of predictions in the Old Testament than were fulfilled in the New Testament. For example, the crucifixion of Jesus was foretold in Psalm 22:16-18 approximately 1,000 years before Christ was born, long before this method of execution was even practiced!

When you actually see it all laid out like this there's just no way it could be fabricated. I mean, how do you deny this much evidence that Jesus was not only completely foretold over and over again but that His every action and miracle was foretold? And four different totally independent people documented it and it all is utterly consistent. How is this not obvious?

I just don't get the lengths you have to go to to poke holes in the Bible and the stuff that's staring you in the face that you have to deny. Why would you do it?

Thank you, brother, for this wondrous example of due diligence to the word of God.

I've been in a court of law and listened to witnesses, they all tell the story slightly differently but that is good enough for a conviction. But Matthew,Mark and Luke not only describe the events but much of the time it's word for word exact! This is far better than any modern so called evidence.

I know! It's almost like they sat round a table and collaborated yet we know they never met. How can that be if they didn't truly get direct inspiration from God and reliable accounts?

The remarkable thing about all this is the concordance between the Old and New Testaments. Being Jewish, the Disciples would only have had the Torah, not the Bible! So how could there be any accusations of cheating?

Exactly, Brother!

Jesus knew all the prophecies about Him since He was a child, so He knew exactly what had to be done to fulfill those prophecies. Lo and behold, they were fulfilled! :yahoo:

Can we add "Created the entire known universe in 6 days" to that list? It sits nicely with those other miracles of similar magnitude. If I were creator of the universe, I'd be pretty darn happy with that list of achievements.

Creating everything is indeed a huge miracle. But my intention here is to show the miracles Jesus Christ performed in the few decades he was with us here on Earth. The Bible contains many more of God's miracles as He performed those over a period of thousands of years. But I am afraid the average atheist mind will no longer comprehend if I add all those to this list. Atheists are clearly mentally incapable of reading a large book like the Bible, because otherwise atheists would not even exist, as no one can read the entire Bible and not become a Christian.

They never met -- except in spirit. And although they may have been differently gifted, there's only one Holy Spirit:
1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

Well yeah! But obviously the only explanation to the gospels agreeing so flawlessly is thar it's a a conspiracy of falsehoods. :sarcasm:
