Because of the Blood of JESUS.....

1 Attachment(s)
This is a thread where we can share our thanks, appreciation and adoration for JESUS' blood.

Why are you thankful for the Blood of JESUS?

Because of the Blood of JESUS.....

I am alive!

Because of the Blood of Jesus, True Christians™ are cleansed from all sin:

1 John 1:7: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Re: Because of the Blood of JESUS.....

Amen!

When God looks at the believer, He doesn't see sin. All He sees is the righteousness of Jesus, because the believer's sin is covered in the blood of Christ.

Hallelujah, God loves blood so much that He shed His own blood as the only sacrifice that could sate His desire for revenge against humans He made in His image's disobedience.

John 6:54-56
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

Jesus tells us that He is the living water. His precious blood is the living water! :Jumpy:

John 4:14

14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Nothing but the Blood of Jesus!

Benny Hinn's sermon really moved me. I like the way he explained Adam's blood had to flow directly from God, he had "no Mom or Dad".

That has to mean the ultimate origin of our own blood is God. I hope people remember that in the Easter season. That is, I hope people remember God gave you your blood, He did not give it to someone else.

Since God intended for my blood to be for me and not someone else, I do not donate blood or take part in those "blood drives". I invite all citizens of Freehold to join me in not donating blood, especially in the Holy time of Easter when Jesus' blood was shed for sin.

Re: Because of the Blood of JESUS.....

Because God Himself has cleansed my soul, I know all my actions are divine inspiration from Him and as such, I am merely a vessel with which He performs His miracles.:innocent:

When He has me interact with the unsaved and blood appears, I know it is Gods Love pulling the demons from the wretched.:yahoo:

Jesus bled on the cross for my sins and after only three days, walked from the cave just as all True Christians do from those that are against the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 5:5: Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

I am thankful for a new family, brother and sisters in Christ.
Christians (we) are holy because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ and being justified by faith.

This verse is so true. Whenever I read the Old Testament, I'm always thankful that Jesus made the final atonement for our sins and we don't have to make all those sacrifices.

Because of the Blood of JESUS.....

I can stand up to the evils of this world who are out to hurt me and destroy me. They may bruise my body and hurt my feelings but they will NEVER TOUCH MY SOUL!

 PRAISE JESUS

Matthew 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Thanks Thomas. Using the KJV has been brought to my attention. I will use the KJV, but I have a question: Can I use the NKJV?

New King James Version - History
Commissioned in 1975 by Thomas Nelson Publishers, 130 respected Bible scholars, church leaders, and lay Christians worked for seven years to create a completely new, modern translation of Scripture, yet one that would retain the accuracy, purity and stylistic beauty of the original Authorized Version or King James Version. According to Thomas Nelson, the translators were unyieldingly faithful to the original Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic texts, applying the most recent research in archaeology, linguistics, and textual studies. The NKJV was published in three stages: New Testament in 1979, the New Testament and the Psalms in 1980, and the complete Bible in 1982.

New King James Version - Translation method
Although the NKJV uses substantially the same Hebrew and Greek texts as the original KJV, it indicates where more commonly accepted manuscripts differ. The New King James Version also uses the Textus Receptus ("Received Text") for the New Testament, just as the King James Version had used. The translators have also sought to follow the principles of translation used in the original KJV, which the NKJV revisers call "complete equivalence" in contrast to "dynamic equivalence" or “thought-for-thought” used by many other modern translations, such as the New International Version. No, not the New King James Version or the NIV (per)version.

First of all, the NIV is nothing more than Satan slowly rewriting the Bible to be more 'PC'. First it started with taking unicorns and leviathan out. Now I think they've made God and Jesus into 'he/shes'. What's next on their agenda :fear2:.

As for the NKJV here's what Jack Chick has to say.
http://www.chick.com/ask/articles/nkjv.asp

Quote:

The New King James is not a King James Bible. It changed thousands of words, ruined valuable verses, and when not agreeing with the King James Bible, it has instead copied the perverted NIV, NASV or RSV. And this you must know: those who translated the NKJV did not believe God perfectly preserved His words! I have gotten more letters on this question than almost any other. This is very important to those who want God's truth in the English language. I myself used the NKJV for a decade before I learned the truth about the preserved words of God. Here is some of what convinced me to switch to the King James Bible from the "New King James."
  1. Changed Words Means Changed Meanings We know that Bible versions disagree on how to translate certain words. Here is an example: Is Jesus God's "Son" or God's "servant"? In Acts 3:26, the NKJV calls Jesus God;s "Servant." The KJV correctly calls Him God’s "Son." These are not the same by any stretch of the imagination. Which one is He? If He is God's servant, so are you and I. If He is God's Son, then we all need to listen to what He said, because He is God! Changed words like this make a great deal of difference in how we understand a passage.
    1. Loss of "thee" and "thou" Please decide what God is saying to Moses:
"And the LORD said to Moses, "How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws?" (Exodus 16:28, NKJV) It looks like God is saying, "Moses, you are continuing to refuse to keep My commandments and My laws." But look carefully at the accurate King James:
"And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?" Now we understand! It was the people, not Moses, that God was upset with. "Ye" and "you" mean more than one person. "Thee," "thou," "thy," "thine," "doeth," "hast," etc., only mean one person. How do we know? The "y" is plural. The "t" is singular. Isn't that easy? Now you know what Jesus meant when He said to Nicodemus, "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again" (John 3:7).
What Jesus said was, "Nicodemus, marvel not that I said unto thee, all of you need to be born again." This is very important. Not only Nicodemus needed to be saved. But everybody, including him, needed to be born again. That's why Jesus used the plural.
But there is more of a problem than the thousands of times "thee" and "thou" are removed from God's words. What does a word mean? This is very important, as you shall see.
    2. Go to Gehenna? The NKJV claims to be "more accurate" because it leaves untranslated words like "Gehenna," "Hades" and "Sheol." What do they mean? You will know from the King James the exact meaning: "hell." We know what that means. Meaning is very important. When's the last time you heard someone told to "Go to Gehenna"?
    3. Which is correct? The NKJV consistently uses terms that don't mean the same as in the King James Bible. Here are some examples:
King James Version New King James Version 2 Corinthians 2:17 "For we are not as many which corrupt the word of God" "peddling the word of God" (like the NIV, NASV and RSV) Titus 3:10 "A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject" "Reject a divisive man" (like the NIV) 1 Thessalonians 5:22 "Abstain from all appearance of evil." "Abstain from every form of evil." (like the NAS, RSV and ASV) Isaiah 66:5 "Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed." [This means that the LORD shall appear, which shall occur at the Second Coming of Christ.] "Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at His word: "Your brethren who hated you, who cast you out for My name's sake, said, 'Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy.' But they shall be ashamed." (Like the NIV, NASV, RSV and ASV, the Second Coming is wholly omitted from this scripture.) Both translations cannot be correct. If one is right, the other has to be wrong. No matter how you slice it, the NKJV does not have the same meaning as the accurate King James Bible.
    2. Changed Affections There is a lot of evidence that the translators and publishers did not believe God preserved His words.
    1. Thomas Nelson Publishers The NKJV was translated and is printed under the watchful eye of Thomas Nelson Publishers. Here is part of a timeline they published.
      1969
Sam Moore purchases Thomas Nelson Publishers, vowing to return it to its once proud place among the leading publishers of the world.
      1976
Nelson initiates the creation of a new Bible translation--The New King James Version.
      1980's
Nelson reclaims its place as a premier publisher of Bibles and Christian Books, expands into international markets, and establishes Markings® as Nelson's Gift division.
It is clear the NKJV made Thomas Nelson Publishers a lot of money. Did a King James-type Bible renew their hearts to God? Note the following facts:

      • They are also the publishers of the American Standard Version, the American revision of Westcott and Hort's perverted English Revised Version.
      • They are also the publishers of the Revised Standard Version, the revision of the American Standard.
      • To this day they continue to sell at least six Bible perversions. The NKJV was just one moneymaker that helped Nelson "reclaim its place" as a major publisher.
      • The NKJV repeats the lie that "There is only one basic New Testament used by Protestants, Roman Catholics, and Orthodox, by conservatives and liberals." In fact, there are two: the perverted Alexandrian line that was continued by the Roman Catholic religion and the preserved, apostolic, Antiochian line that progresses from the Christians at Antioch of Syria (Acts 11:26) to our precious King James Bible.
    2. The New King James translators Marion H. Reynolds Jr. of the Fundamental Evangelistic Association reveals a little-known fact:
"The duplicity of the NKJV scholars is also a matter for concern. Although each scholar was asked to subscribe to a statement confirming his belief in the plenary, divine, verbal inspiration of the original autographs (none of which exist today), the question of whether or not they also believed in the divine preservation of the divinely inspired originals was not an issue as it should have been. Dr. Arthur Farstad, chairman of the NKJV Executive Review Committee which had the responsibility of final text approval, stated that this committee was about equally divided as to which was the better Greek New Testament text-the Textus Receptus or the Westcott-Hort. Apparently none of them believed that either text was the Divinely preserved Word of God. Yet, all of them participated in a project to "protect and preserve the purity and accuracy" of the original KJV based on the TR. Is not this duplicity of the worst kind, coming from supposedly evangelical scholars?"
      Not "the real thing"
What Mr. Reynolds points out is very important to understand. There were basically two groups of translators working on the NKJV. One half believed that the perverted 45 Alexandrian manuscripts, from which came the Roman Catholic Bibles and the modern perversions, were better than the manuscripts behind the King James. The other group believed the thousands of manuscripts supporting the King James were better. This is a big problem: No one believed that they held God's words in their hands, only a "better" or "worse" text! The translators believed they had something close, but not an accurate Bible. It is a sad thing when a Bible translator doesn't even believe he has God's words in his hands. It sounds like they don't believe God kept His promise:
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. (Mark 13:31)
Perhaps that is why some of them had no problem working on other perversions, both before and after working on the NKJV. This is so unlike the 54+ Bible men who faithfully translated the King James Bible from preserved manuscripts of God's words. The difference between the King James and the "New" King James is the difference between day and night.
Compromising God's Words
Many Christians are discovering the miracle of God's words in English. But the enemy has tried to insert a monkey-wrench: the NKJV. Pastors approve it, "scholars" promote it, but the NKJV is a wolf in sheep's clothing. The New King James is just a compromise between the liberal, perverted Bible versions floating around and the rock-solid, accurate and preserved words of God, the King James Bible.
Brothers and sisters, don't settle for anything less than God's words.

I learn something each and every day. I was about to go and purchase a NKJV bible, but no reason to. I'll rely on my KJV and post the links here in this forum in such a manner.

The loss of thee and thou, the explanation had done it for me.

Thank you BelieverInGod for the comprehensive reference.

Praise Him!!!

Re: Because of the Blood of JESUS.....

While I was on his site, I found these articles on the NIV

Can I read the NIV and still be saved?

Quote:

All Bibles Are NOT OK That said, I cannot then say that "all Bibles are OK." Have you read the Jehovah's Witnesses' Bible? One day I read to my church a number of verses. I asked them if they sounded right. None agreed. They agreed to a one that something was wrong. Then I showed them the camouflaged Bible I read from was a JW's New World Translation. Everyone was relieved. Then I told them: "Every verse you heard is essentially the same in the NIV." Mouths were stopped. People gasped. It was a great effect! I had made a point.
Which is correct in 1 Timothy 3:16

Quote:

The difference between "God" and "who" in Greek was a little line. The amazing thing is, by the Alexandrians removing a line from one letter, they took away the deity of Christ!
The overwhelming testimony of history is that God preserved His words. In thousands of manuscripts, God preserved these words, "God was manifest in the flesh." Though the Roman Catholic religion preserved the perversion of the Alexandrians, and every Alexandrian translation tries to hide it, it is still true: God was manifest in the flesh.
And you will always find truths like this, when you read the King James Bible.
Isn't it good enough to find the missing words in my NIV footnotes?
Quote:

It is never "good enough" to take out or replace God's words. The text of the Bible is what the translators want you to think is the word of God. By putting the words into the footnotes, they make the reader think 1) they did not really belong in the Bible and 2) they are not really important. But those words are very important. Look at these Scriptures:
KJV
Ephesians 4:6
"One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all" NIV

"one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all" With an NIV is pretty easy for a Christian Scientist to say that God is "in everyone," even those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

KJV
Luke 2:33
"And Joseph and his mother marveled…" NIV

"The child's father and mother marveled…" Anyone who believed that Joseph, not God, was Jesus' true father would love the NIV (or any other of the Alexandrian perversions).
KJV
Mark 10:24
"…Jesus answereth again, … Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!" NIV

"…Jesus said again, 'Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!'" The perversions spread the lie that it is hard to get to heaven. That makes it easy to say we need to do good works to be saved.
KJV
Mark 15:28
"And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors. NIV

[Omitted] This is the only place in the New Testament that shows us the fulfillment of this prophecy in Isaiah 53:12. The perversions hide a fulfilled prophecy!
KJV
Luke 9:54-56
54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. NIV

54 When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?" [comparison with Elias omitted]
55 But Jesus turned and rebuked them, [Jesus' words of rebuke omitted]
56 [Jesus' reason for coming to earth omitted]
and they went to another village. The Alexandrian writings make this passage meaningless! The preserved Bible shows us that Jesus' disciples are not to take revenge, nor to "destroy lives," but to "save them." The whole lesson here is removed in the perversions.

I was driving my wife to get some groceries and when I turned to parkin lot, I noticed that whole place was jam-packed. Immediately I shouted out loud "Oh sweet Jesus, help me find a good parking spot and spare my wife from excess walking!" No more than 5 minutes driving around the parking lot later, I noticed this demon-on-wheels was about to leave. After another few minutes of honking my horn at him, he finally managed to pack his wheelchair into his gimpmobile and drive away.

Throught the power of prayer I was able to drove away this abomination to LORD and stop from him wasting Jesus' time by taking this perfectly good parking spot right next to main entrance of store.

Because of the Blood of JESUS we can feel the power of prayer in everyday life. Shout GLORY!
