Ge:1:27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Ge:1:28: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Ge:1:30: And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
Now at this point, the other people God made might be eating, but these were base spirits, little different from the animals, and certainly without souls. BUT
Ge:2:16: And the LORD God commanded the man, [edit - this is Adam] saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
Note, it was a choice as to whether Adam ate anything - Note that God says "mayest". Perhaps he just chewed it a bit, for there are no recipes at this stage of the History of Mankind! No hints of barbecues, no bacon or steak. I cannot see where it says that Adam ate anything whilst in the garden, and as we will see, when he did, he was in trouble...
There is always the possibility that Adam ate manna: probably manna is the perfect food - leaving no waste. It is certainly the sort of thing God would eat... if He eats!
However, later on, once expelled, God mentions that you can eat things, and that is when cookery started, for surely it could not have started before there was a woman!
Another point!
Ge:2:20: And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
Now we all know that if you are a cattle farmer, you don't name the beasts, as this brings a certain friendship and you might find yourself not wanting to slaughter the beast.
And so what does the serpent do? It tells Eve to eat!
Finally, if God does eat, what does He eat and where does he get it from?
Notice that He sacrificed His Son so there need be no further sacrifices - so how has He been surviving? And note that he just liked the smell of sacrifices and we know sacrifices never "disappeared miraculously.", so God wasn't eating them!
If He didn't eat - why would He create Adam who did?
