You're mistaken there. The authentic Bible was personally dictated by God to the scribes of King James I in 1611. The numerous other translations and "various retellings" since then have "butchered" God's holy word (Deuteronomy 4:2) and tricked millions into serving Satan and damning themselves to Hell.
