No dear, look again at what the LORD says in His Word...
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Note the phrase "that whoseover believeth in him." This does not mean, "that anyone and everyone." There exists a very specific condition here - belief in Christ. No belief? No Salvation.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
The world (mankind) has already been condemned ("the wages of sin is death," Romans 6:23). The Son came for those who MIGHT be Saved. This word is used in auxiliary function to express permission, but not everyone has this permission. The default is set not to "Salvation," but to "Perish":
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:16-18

Clearly dear, you are the one misled. Someone erroneously taught you that Jesus loves you unconditionally. Where this idea came from is anyone's guess (*cough* communist hippies *cough*), but it certainly isn't from the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is very clear to those who but read it:
Jesus Did NOT Die For Everyone's Sins!
