I've been reading the thread.
What's all this about the Masoretic text? How long did it take Big Jewry to cobble together their "standard version" like was it 1100 years or 2,000 years or 2700? I know that once Jesus was born fulfilling the prophecies and just so God that they had to re-work everything to make Jesus something else (for example changing the word "virgin" wherever it occurred). Was that the beginning of these Masoretes?
