The child is either a heathen, or possessed by the devil. (Actually, what's the difference?) She is clearly mimicking either Cyclops (the Greek giants of mythology) or Odin (the chief heathen 'god' of Scandinavia).
How can her parents even admit to her existence, let alone take her out in public?
