Bipolar is not hip, cool or nice. It is not something you choose, it is just chemicals in your head. A mania is caused by an overload of the happy-hormone dopamine, and a depression is caused by a lack of dopamine and serotinine.
But of course both episodes can simply be prayed away, since God can manage those chemicals. You will be fine, as long as you don't get psychotic in the mania and forget all about Our Lord Jesus Christ.
