these theories were centuries ago! it is the only way science and humans to progress forward is to compile a hypothesis and then, to see if there are any mistakes, one must prove himself wrong, just like religion and everything else! there was one that is correct, the expanding earth. It is still expanding from the big bang, and has not been disproved yet although scientist are exploring it, on the 26 november 2007 they will be simulating the big bang on a minute scale, and then we can see whether it is or is not true, whatever the answer will be, yes or no, it will still mean we are progressing forward.
