I think that it is a wonderful example of God's Love that He yet permits a raped woman, having complied with His other commandments regarding criminal rape, to remember no more her anguish. Compare and contrast the heathen strumpet who having murdered her child continues thenceforth to obsess and despair, weeping on chat shows, flaunting her rejection of God's regenerative love and is it any womder! The heathen secularist will point out that this flibbertigibbet did not have even a 50/50 chance of the rapist's child being his
son - but I am not so sure. Is the proportion of rape-conceived offspring more predominantly male or female? Perhaps funding could be made available for a study by Landover Christian University's Faculty of Creation Science?
I notice that among God's Chosen People The Israelites there were very many sons born and although the vast majority of rape-conceptions would not be criminal (if even rape at all, in the legal sense) they were frequently very aggressive.
The wanton would deny herself this joy. No wonder she despairs 
and of course there is always the possibility of a girl child...
