You can just look at him and tell he doesn't have the love of Christ inside him. It's sad. I would feel upset by the hurtful things and outright lies this wicked little man preaches, if they weren't so laughable as to dismiss outright.
It's clear from the way Mr. Dillahunty delights in persecuting Christians - a hallmark of one who has been preordained to eternal torments in
the fiery pit of hell (Psalm 58:3, II Thessalonians 2:11-12, Jude 1:4) - that he is patently unfit to rightly divide the Word of God. I've seen this character even go so far as to claim to have once been a Christian, but it is clear from the effort he puts into placing distance between himself and the LORD that he was never a True Christian™.
If only the Holy Spirit dwelt within Mr. Dillahunty as It dwells within me and my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, he would be able to behold the Word of God in all Its breathtaking majesty. But no - God's Word is foolishness to him, which clearly puts him in the wrong. The Holy Bible instructs us that only believers are capable of truly understanding His Word.
I Corinthians 2:9-14
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
If Mr. Dillahunty would just open his heart to Jesus, even he could receive Jesus' kind offer of redemption. It's a little something called Grace, and instead of spewing anti-Christian hate speech, perhaps he should just settle down for a minute and let Jesus enter him with His penetrating Love. He would realize his error and stop trying to think for himself. God gave us the Holy Bible precisely so we
don't have to think for ourselves!
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
I don't understand why it's so hard. It would be so much easier if these types would just shut up if they don't want to get with the program instead of trying to drag others down with them. They're like a virus - pitifully wallowing in sin and depredation, all the while looking to spread their mental disease to new hosts.
