Are these the same scientists who claim that:
- Virgin women don't get pregnant;
- You can't split the sea and walk over the sea floor;
- Or walk on water;
- People don't grow to be 950 years old;
- You can't fit several pairs of millions of species of animals on a single boat;
- People need 2000 to 2500 kcal a day in food, so 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes can't ever be enough to feed thousands;
- Earth was created billions of years ago;
- You can't heal people's illnesses by driving out their demons;
- Or heal a blind man by asking God to heal him;
- Earthquakes aren't caused by evil;
- You need more than water to make wine;
- Earth is spherical;
- When a shrubbery burns it turns into ashes and coal;
- Donkeys don't speak;
- You can't resurrect a corpse that's been rotting for 4 days;
- That you can't just stop the sun when you need a few more hours of daylight;
- There is no real difference between a Tuesday or Sabbath day;
- You can't make a tree wither by speaking a few angry words at it;
- One kind of animal can turn into another kind;
- Etc., etc., etc.
People who make so many basic mistakes can't be trusted, those things are obviously counterfactual, so I can't trust this scientific theory to be true either. If it were true, it would have been mentioned in the Bible, just like the factual counter to every point I listed above is accurately described by first hand witnesses in the Bible.
