Somebody needs some chemistry lessons. And by the way chemistry was in practice well before NASA had existed and was known that the atmosphere comprised of those molecules. It funny that you mentioned that oxygen burns, that is precisely how we know that oxygen is in the atmosphere. Do you drie a car? You wouldn't be able to without it. Oxygen in the atmosphere is inert (O2, a diatomic molecule. 1 of 7 that exist in nature this way) it must be mixed with a base fuel and ignited by a catalyst in order to break those bonds and burn. This is also what fire is too.
You people amaze me, how do you even have a computer? Do you cook food drive a car, burn candles?? What?
Why must everything you don't understand be the work of the devil? That is rediculous.
