If you just think about it, it makes a lot of sense. God has gone to a lot of trouble, first the problems that arose in the Garden of Eden where He had to shut it down, then there was the flood that was necessary to clean house (so to speak), and rescues from the Pharos – it just went on almost interminably. And finally He had to send Jesus to temporarily die for all the sins of mankind – you just have to draw the line somewhere. Jesus is coming back one last time to wrap it up, and it's not going to be pretty. Sure, you can live a life of sin and debauchery but why chance it – you just might not be able to make that so-called "death bead" conversion to turn to Jesus at the last moment. Jesus' one time offer expires when you expire – and there is no time like the present to get your affairs in order.
Praise Jesus!
Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
...and get off my lawn
