I'm sorry to hear that. You must have been greatly hurt to suppress the pain so deeply. The good LORD has led you hear for a reason. You can open yourself to us. We don't bite.

This cannot be true if you have rejected God. How can you know what unconditional love is until you have the Holy Spirit in your soul telling you what to do and think?

Unfortunately, I see Christians in the frontlines. What ensued was severe depression, manic thoughts, and outright anger. I kept falling, kept falling, kept falling until one day I decided to open up to her. I told her everything and she didn't even flinch. All she said was, "You're still my son, I'll love you no matter what." Then she asked me where I stood on my faith. I replied with, "What faith?" and that remains today. Since, I have managed to drag myself out of that horrible depression and have done a 180. I wake up every day with a smile on my face that lasts until I go to sleep. Thanks to the support of my family and friends and nothing more.

Ah, so your mother isn't really a Christian after all. She just goes to church sometimes and talks about Bible stories? Yes that explains why you have no faith - you've never learned. Friend, you are in the right place! We have a fabulous Bible Study program here, you can join us online!

What a terrible thing for your mother to have said. I would never say such a thing to my children. They know the LORD has a place for True Christians™ only and it is their choice to follow God or follow Satan.

'Atheists' trying to tear down the Christians and vice versa. Live and let live.

Of course you think she's a True Christian™ dear, she told you herself and children believe anything they've been told. This is why it is so important to train a child to be obedient unto the LORD from the very beginning - before he has time to question any of it.
Anyway, welcome to the forums and I look forward to seeing you in the Bible Study!
