Now tell me, what can government do under the strict reading of the 1st amendment that it can't do under "separation of church and state"? The 1st amendment is there to protect religious freedom not hinder it and it's a mystery to me why the religious right is so anti-Christian that they want Paganism and Satanism taught and practiced in our schools.
