No offense here, but I find any kind of meringue to be dry, foamy, crusty and tasteless, sort of akin to something left out for a couple of days. About the only thing meringue is good for is house insulation between the drywall and sheathing, or maybe use it a chinking you a log cabin.
Now, the fresh whipped cream is another matter and is particularly good on pies.
