But Andy, that verse is strictly speaking of women adorning
themselves in modest apparel. It speaks nothing of when a man gives a necklace of pearl to that woman.
In fact, I'd go so far as to say it is a way that the man is symbolically giving his love for Jesus to the woman.
Matthew 13:45
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls
We as men must show our lord which women we deem fit for Heaven by casting a necklace of pearl on all women who's souls will surely reside with us in the Kingdom of Heaven. You must make certain that the receiver of your pearl strand is worthy, however.
Matthew 7:6
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
