Good question, sister Roberta.
Well, in their vanity the cathlicks have fancy dresses for every occasion thinkable. Originally their pink "vestments" were only worn on Gaudete Sunday (the third sunday of advent), but since the papists have developed an evidently insatiable hunger for little boys, i guess it's kind of a fashion statement. Even their 'god king' shows himself in these rags (here with a negro pleasure slave):
