Okay... First off, this is NOT a real photo. It's from the set of a MOVIE. Selena and that girl are holding hands probably because she's just going to lead her somewhere ON THE SET. @JamesRobert already pointed out that it's not a real photo with raw evidence of that fact: another photo that shows a film crew. And considering that fact that she is, you know, an actress, it kind of makes damn sense.
Secondly, their characters, Romona and Beezus, are sisters. Not lesbians in an abusive child relationship (which, by the way,
don't exist).
Thirdly, you are all so blinded by your prejudices. Homophobia, racism, and sexism have no place in an intellectual society. Blind prejudice is one thing that the US was
in no way founded upon. It's also
anti-Christian. Frankly, choosing to be ignorant of other people and sheer reality has no place in an intellectual society either-- let alone a civil one.
