Well, I prayed on it and prayed on it and then prayed some more. I opened my Bible and by God's grace came upon Proverbs 18:15. It is very relevant here, because, as we all know, the more intelligent someone is, the more likely they are to believe in God and the literal truth of the Bible. Therefore, I will follow God's direction and continue with this task.
Marquis de Sade (1740-1814)
The man after whom "sadism" is named. A French atheist, bisexual pervert extraordinnaire, sexual deviant, pornographer, and mental patient. He enjoyed beating and abusing whores (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), but had a particular obsession with teenage boys (Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13). He wrote vile literary porn for his own perverse gratification (Ephesians 4:29), including such ungodly topics as pedophilia, sodomy, sexual torture, coprophagia, urolagia, beastiality, and murder. He called his unfinished novel
The 120 Days of Sodom "the most impure tale that has ever been told since the world began," and it describes even more kinds of sin than the Lord Jesus saw fit to share with us in the Bible (a book actually worth reading, unlike Sade's execrable filth, which should be consigned to the flames). Despite his aristocratic status, the cowardly turncoat supported the French Revolution (Romans 1:30, Philippians 2:4). Napoleon had him locked up in prison because of the contents of
Justine, the tamest of Sade's books, and he ended up dying in an insane asylum (Deuteronomy 28:28, Ecclesiastes 7:25). Being the most depraved Frenchman
in history is certainly an impressive accomplishment in sinful behavior, and it would be hard to torture a man who enjoys it, but God is great and we can rest assured that the Marquis de Sade is NOT having a good time in Hell.
