The War on Drugs is a part of Nixon's free market miracle, which keep America safe and prosperous, and makes good use of our prisons. Ending the War on Drugs would have cataclysmic effects on the economy. Without a prosperous prison-industrial complex, America will have a hard time recovering from the Obamarecession.
