    No Atheists in the USAF

    Here's a cheering decision
No atheist should be permitted to serve in the U.S. military

The United States Air Force has refused to allow a sergeant to re-enlist because he will not say "so help me God." (http://news.yahoo.com/atheist-must-s...232153866.html)

The Air Force is doing exactly the right thing here. There is no place in the United States military for those who do not believe in the Creator who is the source of every single one of our fundamental human and civil rights.

Serving in the military is a privilege, not a constitutional right. And it should be reserved for those who have America's values engraved on their hearts.

Naturally, the American Humanist Association, which has never seen a constitutional liberty it respects, intends to challenge this decision.

This case should be thrown out of court. The Constitution nowhere gives the federal judiciary any authority to set military policy. That's reserved for Congress and Congress alone.

(The "religious test" referred to in Article VI of the Constitution is a reference to a detailed or specific Christian statement of faith, and refers to elective or appointive office and not to military service. States, under the Constitution written by the Founders, can require any kind of religious test they want, and Article VI was designed to protect that power and reserve it for the States.)
Let's be fair: Atheists have no moral compass, when times get hard in battle, they are always the first to desert to the other side.

Has not every evil communist spy been an atheist? Do you want spies in the USAF?

Our pilots get physically closer to God that most of us. How is it possible that someone flying an aircraft at 40,000 feet can deny God? If he can do this, he can do anything. Why should an atheist be bothered about America?

That guy who dropped that atomic bomb on South Carolina - he was an atheist.

It took too long a time before this sensible rule was enforced. I think there was an understandable assumption that every American is a Christian... except Obama.

Let's get real here. Does anyone think a fit and handsome white male soldier will make the ultimate sacrifice to defend some overweight and ugly pagan woman?

The Christian soldier or airman needs to defend something real and beautiful. That something is Jesus dying on the cross while crying, "Father, why have you forsaken me?"

That's the picture we need to generate the patriotism we need in soldiers, sailors and airmen.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Equally, why should God be bothered about an atheist at 40,000 feet? We have recently seen 2 Mooslim Atheist Airways planes struck down. If we start sending up atheistic military pilots, it could cost the U.S. taxpayer dear in terms of costly hardware.

Psalm 91:4-5 applies only to True Christian™ soldiers and airmen!

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
        Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

In this case, the arrow that flieth by day might well be a surface-to-air missile. Lots of luck avoiding THAT without His Holy protection, atheist suckers!

I am so grateful that no matter how much the liberals push, the wonderful Christians have kept the Lord part of the country, like in the pledge of allegiance, on our money, in the oaths, ect. Praise the Lord and the Christian Republicans and Tea Party members!

No atheist can be trusted to defend America, because they aren't even real citizens. For example, most atheists would balk at bombing a Muslim wedding in the defense of our freedoms. That's just out-and-out treason. United States Atheists Forbidden!

Re: No Atheists in the USAF

Atheists are not trustworthy because as nihilists they deny everything they don't know the difference between morality and immorality. Would you hire somebody to guard your home who believes that there is nothing wrong with stealing and murdering? Atheists also don't believe that God has a special plan for America. How can they be trusted to fight for something they openly admit they don't believe in?

Also, atheists are a nuisance at every workplace because instead of doing their work they are busy with propaganda and recruiting new members.

Even agnostics shouldn't be allowed to the military. We need brave soldiers for Jesus not pathetic laggards who pretend to be stupid because they are too lazy to form an opinion and then advocate it.
