Obviously I've never played this dreadful game but yes. Whatever the creator of overwatch thinks is wrong. I'm not sure what a rebel hero is but if there's any in this, this thing, the code will certainly misrepresent what a rebel hero is too.
It is certainly encouraging to see how you are taking an interest in the topics. Not every topic will interest every visitor but the responses in this thread could suggest lifestyles that are condemned in The Bible are somehow acceptable. Do not open your heart to madness, instead open your eyes to the reality of Jesus, and of the prophets, and the creation, and the Gospels to understand a path to wisdom based on reality.

I think he means he means either vigilante, mercenary or terrorist. After the fall of Overwatch, this is a vague overview of the occupations taken up. For example, Soldier 76 becomes a vigilante; (No confirmed mercenaries yet but has been talked about) and Reaper becomes a terrorist.

One of the last things Jesus commanded before being so rudely betrayed was to buy weapons, even at the expense of clothing. Are you suggesting that this appalling game reflects His majesty?
LUKE 22 . KJV . look up .. Jesus refers to an earlier commandment
18 [Jesus] said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
Weapons are to be funded from personal assets, Jesus explains here. Any collective funds remained for other purchases in accordance with His will. But whether weapons or cakes or bizarre costumes or even medicine where in the overwatch does Jesus' will even get a mention?

I was just wondering what was so wrong with a gunslinger when Jesus commanded weapons to be bought? Mercenaries probably arrive fully equipped, maybe not the hired-in personnel but at the senior contracting level I'd have thought any mercenary group would be self funding. That's why they charge a good round figure, to allow for equipment and other expenses and to provide a substantial profit. Hopefully. Jesus did not command making a profit by way of the sword but He did require the arsenal to be self funding, not drawn from the common purse. Unless you have some evidence I'm unaware of.
The equivalent of a foreign power employing mercenaries to use equipment supplied by the foreign power itself is covered here:
EPHESIANS 6 . KJV . look up
12 We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Yes, there is something which you are missing-- a question mark for starters.

I would of edited or at least deleted and redone it. But you cannot edit posted comments, which is a major setback. And then again, I don't remember asking you.

What is this some kind of cruel joke. I mean overwatch is a fine game and there is other people that believe in different things. I am Christian and I do not believe any of this nonsense. The only character in the game the has autism is Symmetra get the names right first of all. Plus Reaper is the the cause of the war he consumes innocent souls and he was ressurected so basically he is the undead. Pharaoh and Ana are Egyptian not Muslim. I play the game a lot and I think what you did to your sons computer was just wrong plus you did destroy it magnets kill electronics.

Your first statement should read, "I would have edited or at least deleted and redone it."
Moreover, while I suppose that I could sympathize with your response to my comment, the fact remains that I have been awarded a "Grammar Nazi" medal and I take my responsibilities seriously.
More significantly, your assertion that you "don't remember asking" me for my critique is ironic and in the most technical sense, incorrect.
The irony is found in the fact that no one on this site asked, invited or encouraged you to enter into this or any other discussion on these forums, yet you have done so.
The technical point to be observed is that you did imply a question when you posted, "Or is there something I am missing."
With or without a question mark--which was missing, there is no escaping that reality--the sentiment which you expressed was an oblique and broad suggestion to elucidate you on the information that you are lacking in regards to the question under discussion.
My statement-- while admittedly glib-- was a response to your implied query.
You are missing a Library of Congress worth of information on the subject at hand. You are missing the mark on understanding our purpose here by such a wide margin of error that if you were John Wilkes Booth aiming at the back of Abraham Lincoln's head, you would have assassinated President James Garfield 16 years later.
That is how far behind you are on your grasp of what is really going on here with our discussion of Overwatch and how it fits into a Biblically informed worldview.
Whether it was your conscious intention to ask for an approximation of your ignorance or not, some stirring of pity within my soul compelled me to provide it to you nonetheless.
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

I could drink alcohol right now and use my cursing power to curse bad people that triggers me.
But seriously, Overwatch is innocent but it was suppose to be innocent until weirdos who has butt fetishes make all overwatch character sexual and that's the problem here nothing else but that.
Back to Overwatch sins again not arguing on something less interesting.

Dear Asksdumbquestions:
Here are the smart questions that you and everyone else posting here need to ask:
Does Overwatch include or mention Jesus?
Does Overwatch glorify Jesus?
Those are the only questions needed to assess anything in the world regarding its value to the sincere Bible believer.
Ideally, this information should close the debate regarding Overwatch and whether it should be banned, but I would have to be brain-damaged to believe such a thing will happen . . . And since I do not play Overwatch or any other computer video games, I am clearly NOT brain-damaged.
(Cue the music introducing the panoply of brain-damaged responses.)

Overwatch thinks that Mercy is Jesus
No, They don't want their "Game" to be a religious game because no one will play it. Isn't it obvious?
