Christians Must Obey All OT Laws -
09-04-2010, 11:02 PM
I've heard many strange arguments on why this law should be adhered to and that one tossed out the window. Hatred of gay people, but fine to eat pork. Nine of the Ten Commandments valid, but working on the Sabbath ok.
Here's what the Gospel has to say:
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:17-19
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16
"And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail." Luke 16:17
"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2 Peter 1:20-21
"Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me?" John 7:19
Seems pretty clear to me that Jesus validated ALL OT law, no?
Shalom

Dear Christ-killer;
FALSE Christians try and distinguish between ceremonial laws and moral laws. Ceremonial laws were invalidated by Jesus, but moral laws are eternal. The TRUE Christian™ approach is much - well - truer. We follow the entire Bible with very few exceptions:
- We're not required to make sacrifices because Jesus has given one sacrifice once for all. (Hebr. chap. 9+10)
- We don't follow the food laws (Mark 7:15-19, Acts 10:12-16, Rom. 14:1-3) although some members still regard lobster with suspicion.
- We don't observe OT (=Jewish) holidays. (Gal. 4:9-11)
- The day of rest is Sunday. (Acts 20:7, 1st Cor. 16:2)
The rest of The Old Testament was written by an eternal God who does not change and never repents. Shout Glory!!
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

GLORY!!!!!!!
No joo can tell us Christians anything about our Bible or our Lord God. It would be like buddhist instructing a mooslim in the ways of the Koran, or a chinaman teaching an American how to play baseball.
The joos are a DIFFERENT religion and are HELLBOUND
"And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are ye?" Acts 19:15

When false Christians make that argument to me, I like to ask them where in the Bible that distinction is spelled out. They suddenly change the subject.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.
