excuse me, sir, but it seems some things need to be said here.

first, you quoted a song of my chemical romances, Dead!, off of their album The Black Parade. as seen from an analysis of the lyrics of the album as a whole and the song Cancer's dedication to all cancer patients, something could be seen. its not a promotion of death, but a question of death. what happens, how does it feels, is there really life after death, how people react to death.

secondly, in your placing quotes around phrases like anti-suicide and so forth, in placing sarcasim as you so clearly know that this just simply cant be true, you would be wrong. the members of my chemical romance have had their past experiences, two of which recovered from rough depression just after the release of their second album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. as those who experienced it, and when their loved ones were asked about the events of their depression, it was made clear that they would never wish such a horrible time upon everyone, and hope that, as knowledgeable people, would be able to serve instead as relief from depressing thoughts, as comfort to fans who are struggling with something in their own lives. they were all truly shocked at the news of hannahs death, and considered briefly leaving the music industry, instead taking a break and returning to produce Danger Days: the True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, an album with a whole new sound and focusing on making something of yourself instead of letting peers pressure you into a corner, as what happened to hannah.

and finally, just as religion, music can be interpreted in numerous fashions. while the band, after recovering from close calls with death, wanted to create an album questioning death, some fans, supported by the environment they live in (and mind you, i say some fans, not all, and not nearly a majority), created another interpretation, that death is beautiful, and that they wanted to experience it. people like hannah, who was 13 and within the most vulnerable years of ones life, was pressured, whether by friends in person or on the internet, or by some aspect of her life that her family didnt know of, to create this other interpretation that she followed through with.

and to conclude, i dont see why you rase a ruckus over one single band, one that promotes much better ideals than others, when she, as a disgusting emo child who would only know satans wrath, would have sure been out of your reach of savior and damned to hell eternal. you claim that all those who life like hannah did and foul and will spread the teachings of satan, but when one girl of billions dies, it becomes one minute facet of her entire life that is to blame. make up your minds

Right, here is my view on all of this.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE DO NOT PROMOTE SUICIDE, SELF HARM, OR ANY SORT OF VIOLENCE OF ANY SORT.

Prepare for a full blown rant here, because I would like to say, the song 'Dead' that I noticed was quoted here is about a patient dying of cancer in the rock opera, The Black Parade. "Dead!" is about the doctors telling him that he's dying. However, they are trying to say that when doctors tell you you're dying, they don't really care. You're just a patient and the source of their pay check. It's exaggerating on how cruel they can be about the fact that you're DYING.

Second, how can a band that uses lyrics such as "I am not afraid to keep on living, I am not afraid to walk this world alone" and "the world will never take my heart... won't explain or say I'm sorry, I'm unashamed, I'm gonna show my scar" be suicide inducing?

They all went through their own share of hard times, especially the lead singer, Gerard Way, who was bullied and tormented at school, and suffered from drug and alcohol addictions not to mention depression and suicidal thoughts. However, he got clean in SEVENTEEN days, and is trying to spread the message that things do get okay. I shall show you a few of his quotes shall I?

"Stay beautiful. Keep it ugly."
"Live every single day as if it were your last."
"There comes a time when you just have to stand up and shout 'This is me damn it! I look the way I look, think the way I think, feel the way I feel, love the way I love! I am a whole complex package. Take me... or leave me. Accept me - or walk away! Do not try to make me feel like less of a person, just because I don't fit your idea of who I should be and don't try to change me to fit your mould. If I need to change, I alone will make that decision.'"

This next one is pretty long, but bear with me, because I need you to see how MCR is changing lives for the better, not making people want to die.

"My life was horrible. When I was a kid I was fat, too ugly and her hair was horrible. I used to get teased every piffleing day. Slammed against the lockers, a punch in the face - you name it. Hell, I had to go to the prom with one of my friends because I could not even get a proper date, I can not even look back at these pictures because I look so bad. She just knows me, even if you do not know what I mean. And now, 2011. I have a beautiful girl, a charitable woman, and I get to do for all my adoring fans every day. I am living proof that no matter how bad life gets, it gets better. I'm Gerard Way, and I survived."

Have I done enough to change your mind yet, for you to realise how wrong you are? My Chemical Romance are NOT devil worshippers, they do NOT promote suicide and self harm and have saved more lives than you could count. There are blogs dedicated to MCR, to people who share their stories of how MCR have saved their lives, and continue to save them to this day. People write fanfictions about how they save the life of their character.

My Chemical Romance are not murderers. They are the completely the opposites. They are life savers.

Oh, and just so you know, the band you see as 'the most dangerous band ever who are murderers' consists of a sassy diva, a unicorn believer, a Princess FroFro and a five foot man. Yep. So dangerous.
