A catholic vegetarian -
08-18-2008, 12:37 PM
I had fun with this guy. He tells me he's a Catholic and a vegetarian. I say he's a liar. He becomes upset saying how dare I call him a liar. I say well, either you're not a Catholic because you don't believe in eating the flesh of Jesus, or you're not a vagetarian!
He left crying because his world was shattered. To bad he's going to Hell either way.
Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

They claim that the death cookie becomes Jesus' flesh as they eat it. It's called delusional false cannibalism.
Bible boring? Nonsense!

I don't think you people quite understand the Catholic theology of the Eucharist. The substance of the bread and wine is transubstantiated into the Body and Blood of Our Lord, but the accidents remain those of bread and wine. Once you understand that, your confusion over the "death cookie," as you so charmingly call it, will be cleared up.

Well, gosh, isn't that convenient. As far as anyone can tell, the death cookie remains the death cookie, but in a parallel universe where nothing can be verified or falsified, it changes into the body and blood of Jesus. I have some bad news for you, Romanist: We True Christians™ are not about to waste our lives believing in something completely unverifiable for which we have only the word of your dress-wearing priests.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

I thought it was Jesus jerky?

So, it changes to blood and flesh, but it really doesn't, is that what you're saying?
Tell me, why is it you Cathoholics think you are powerful enough to call down Jesus into crackers and wine for you to eat?

I still get teased over this kind of thing as an ex-papist. Just last week I was visiting with Sister Enid Walton and she offered me a cookie... as long as it wouldn't cause me to be overcome by a cannibalistic blood lust! Oh, how we laughed!
