Atheists OUTRAGED over Carrie Underwoods new Godly song. -
10-06-2014, 03:14 PM
Atheists everywhere are apparently up in arms over Carrie Underwoods new song, "Something in the water". The author, who has done extensive research into the article and mindset of the atheist clearly deserves a pulitzer prize for this remarkable work of journalism.
Quote:
Carrie Underwood is a good ole country girl with a heart of gold and the voice of an angel. In her new song “Something in the Water,” she proves that she is also a child of God by singing about her faith.
In the song, Underwood sings about baptism and “being washed in blood,” which refers to the blood of Christ. The whole message of the song is that we humans are lost without God.
Atheists are outraged that such a hit-maker as Underwood would dare to sing about Christianity, but Carrie doesn’t seem to care.
“Country music is different. You have that Bible Belt-ness about it,” she said. “I’m not the first person to sing about God, Jesus, faith or any of that, and I won’t be the last. And it won’t be the last for me, either. If you don’t like it, change the channel.”
Listen to the song and see what you think. Does this song have what it takes to become a mainstream hit? Sound off in the comments below!

I don't listen to hard rock music like this, I have to admit I found that I was inspired by her song. Made me want to jump up and yell, PRAISE THE LORD!
Why are these God haters complaining anyway? There were no monkey people mentioned or complaints about obamacare. You know the things they get on their high horses about.
1 Chronicles 16:15
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations ... an everlasting covenant.
Proverbs 30:5,6: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

I know I am outraged! Where do atheists think they get the right to silence Christians?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

And did you see the outrage and hate it the comments? Not one atheists could contain their rage long enough to praise the role of music in expression of the first amendment

It's a lovely, lovely song but she doesn't sound very "country", does she? I'd like to hear a proper cover version by Roper Crossburn - it could be just the song to put him up at the top of the Hit Parade, where he belongs.

Careful! Carrie is an animal lover and vegan - far, far away from being a real Christian. No doubt a demoncrat too!

She didn't say what molecule it was that was in the water. If it's not a molecule how could it be "in" the water (but not anywhere else)?
PSALM 139
3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
KJV
I'm getting confused here because she seems to be suggesting that prior to "the water" she was external to God's Spiritual Ministry. In a place where God was not.
That no matter where she lay down His hand was not upon her.
The Psalmist has a very different witness in that respect. No location could be beyond His reach.
12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
KJV .. look up
If He covers His Elect from the mother's womb then what is special about the water? What is in it that is not everywhere else too?
Papist "holy water" contains prurient contaminants, yes, I know that.
So in that case, any special quality associated with water would be what was NOT in it. Not what WAS in it. Could someone explain for me please?
Concerned,
Yarra Valley.

Atheists hate anything that isn't sung by thrash death metal bands such as Bad Company or Offspring etc, as soon as they are introduced to the word of GOD in music then they go rabid.
Melodic Christian rock band Alctrazz summed it up nicely in 'God Blessed Video'. Atheists hate that band too.

I have first-hand knowledge of at least a dozen traffic accidents that have been circumvented due to the powerful message of faith in Mrs. Underwood's smash hit "Jesus Take the Wheel."
I have personally been saved from two near-miss traffic accidents, one which would have involved a head-on collision with a schoolbus, by realizing that things were beyond my control, taking my hands off the wheel, closing my eyes, and whispering "it's in Your hands now, Jesus." Sure, I plowed over a few mailboxes and totaled one Buick by driving it into a culvert this way, but it's a strategy I plan to keep employing into the future.
In fact if the roads are slick, I don't even bother trying to drive at all. I just close my eyes, take my hands off the wheel, press down the accelerator, and let Jesus do the driving. I'm still here, aren't I?
But the overarching message is that, as fallible humans, we should not try to solve problems for ourselves. Why should we try to do anything for ourselves, when the LORD is tapping His toes, waiting for us to turn over control to Him? As humans, it is our job to immediately admit defeat and inadequacy, and put it all in His hands.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.
II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power
The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Rushdoony

A Beautiful bit of witnessing there brother. We all know that if Jesus wants us to make it home, he will lead the way. If not he has other plans and it will be glorious! Praise the Lord!

Quoted for Truth!
Also, she's "in support" of gay "marriage" as well ! ! !
She is "playin" us!
HERE:
Quote:
Carrie Underwood is about to be in hot water with her Christian fan base, as recently surfaced interview transcript has revealed that the songstress supports gay marriage.
After wedding NHL player Mike Fisher in July of 2010, Underwood stated, “As a married person myself, I don’t know what it’s like to be told I can’t marry somebody I love, and want to marry. I can’t imagine how that must feel. I definitely think we should all have the right to love, and love publicly, the people that we want to love.”
In affirmation of this statement, the American Idol winner told Allure magazine, “I’m in favor of acceptance.”
No celebrity is safe from criticism during their career; it comes with the territory. However, it does seem as though Underwood is using her faith to her advantage when given the opportunity, while refusing to stick up for fundamental Christian values when push comes to shove. In the process of trying to make everyone happy, she is going to end up losing credibility and respect.
