Are you willing to trust the words of a paedophile from the heathen land of Greece instead of the everlasting Word of GOD? Well, it's no big surprise, since you seem to enjoy male pornography, according to your avatar, and I wouldn't be surprised if you also enjoyed "playing" with little kids. Are you a Catlick, by any chance? You should use your so called brain into more useful things, like hitting that Glorious PayPal button at the end of the page

I believe Dr. Hovind to be completely innocent of the alleged crime of "tax evasion", and furthermore believe Hovind's 10 year sentence to be patently unjust and based upon an effort to silence his ministry.

Too bad the kilometer wasn't invented yet, Tater.
I've no idea what a "strabge gizmo" is, and I'm not sure I want to know. We don't go in for that sort of thing around these parts . . . This ain't no Brokeback Mountain, son!

Eratosthenes ignored the bending of light by the gravity of the Earth, as do the astronomers today, so it's really no surprise they get the same answer--but that answer was just as wrong 1,800 years ago as it is today.

Creation Scientists tend to favor brain work over experiment and observation, too. Perhaps, if Eratosthenes had lived today, he, too, would have been a True Christian™--provided, of course, that he would have been willing to give up the sodomy.

well by your logic the gravity from the earth would bend the light so far down the rays would eventually bend so far as to collide with the earth or another object...if you are going to try and argue with logic at least learn some basic reasoning skills retard

I would like to bring to light the verse in the Bivble that disputes alll of your claims that the earth is flat
Isaiah 20:42 It is He who sits above the Circle of the Earht, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers Who stretches out the heaveans like a curtain, And spreads them out like a TENT to dwell in.
this shows all you claims from from a purely BIBLICAL standpoint, so before you try to prove something from a biblical standpoint try to learn some bible verses please...idiots

Please explain the difference between refraction and curvature. And then provide some proof to back up your statement that light cannot bend. Prof. Einstein said it could, so there's a Nobel Prize in physics waiting for you if you're right.

There are only 6 verses in Isaiah 20 (see it for yourself online here), and not one of them discusses the circle of the Earth or grasshoppers or tents. So before trying to prove something from a Biblical standpoint, try actually reading the Bible. M oron.

Even that piece of crap translation doesn't have an Isaiah 20:42.
Nevertheless, I am glad that you at least are willing to accept the Bible as evidence; it shows that there may be some hope for you yet. Now, if you were referring to Isaiah 40:22, "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in," it says circle, not sphere. Circles are flat. So thank you for providing another proof that the Earth is flat.

I believe our anonymous friend was referring to
Isaiah 40:22-23
It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
That bringeth the princes to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.
It's understandable that he listed the wrong source and translation; he was probably on a deadline to finish some pornographic drawing of popular cartoon characters.
His focus on two dimensional art maybe excuses his error in thinking that a circle is a sphere. Seeing as how geometry was invented three hundred years before Christ, he's probably even more ignorant of shapes and solids than he is of the Bible.

Thank you for the correction on the verse adress, i typed it incorectly
However if you add the tent description to the flat crcle then there is still no argument of the depth of the earth.

ignorant of the bible? well then you sir need to think again as i quoted a verse exactly out of my paper real life bible for this topic because you all are idiots that need to pull your head out of your sphincters..... And Ezekiel you wanting to re-re-reelect bush just proves my point farther, first off because he started a war that should never have been started, and thats not even counting on how in 1951 there was a constitutional amendment limiting 2 presidential terms, partly to avoid idiots like Bush from being president for too long because of idiot rednecks like you....

and in reply to you claiming that i was probably trying to finish a pornographic drawing you sir are majorly mistaken, as i do not partake in pornography as it is a pointless pastime to me, both crating and viewing, not to mention it is a sin

Have you ever seen a mountain? Of course the earth has depth. God, in His grace, has granted us dominion over pits full of fuel.
(I'm a little embarrassed to have typed almost the same thing as Mr. Smith-- I must've been too eager to refute this New Age, round-earth nonsense. Still, I guess it's to be expected that two people who love Christ completely are of one mind. If only we were all saved, that we could be done with these bothersome discussions.)
