By "pointed out" you mean you coming out and saying it without really backing but just posting an article written by someone as wrong as you?

Sorry I did not mean to imply that you personaly deleted it and the band I put is called "Skillet" and whoever erased it either deleted it without reading or knowingly called a frying pan satanic which is actually pretty amusing.

Now, suggest one which abstains from the appearance of evil, as God commands:
1 Thessalonians 5:22
Abstain from all appearance of evil.
Ladies, please do not look at this photo of this so-called "Christian rock" band. They appear as undead monsters (Goths?) wearing depraved fetishwear, one in what appears to be a leather straitjacket, and the lead "singer" is attired in the very flames of Hell!
Bible boring? Nonsense!
Try Bible in a Year with Brother V, or join Shirlee and the kids as they discuss Real Bible Stories!
You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!

Just because you dont like how they dress doesnt mean they are evil. Last time I checked, God made night and said it was GOOD. Black is the color of night. God created black. If they still look "undead" to you its because of poor image resolution. "Skittles"? thats just dumb, theyre not whereing bright colors. Do you know what the cd that picture is for? Their cd called "alien youth" and before you critisize, here is what is about. "Alien Youth" refers to when Jesus said that we are aliens(strangers)in ...

... the world. The first words of the song(not including spoken word which says "its been confirmed that the aliens landed" refering to us as beleivers) are "worldwide Jesus domination, love conqers all". Do you have a problem with worldwide Jesus domination? If so, GET LOST YOU HYPOCRITE!

oh and about the "fire of hell" crap, God also made fire as a means of warmth, protection, and to cook food. Hmm...it ALMOST sounds like fire can be a good or bad thing...whats the word for that? Oh yeah! "Ammoral" ring any bells?

I know I already asked this, but does anyone have a problem with "world wide Jesus domination"? If you do, talk to pastor Ezeikal(sorry, I know I spelt your name wrong, but not on purpose). If HE has a problem with it, I think a new pastor is needed. Assuming noone has a problem with those lyrics, then you all admit that you think that it is something other than lyrics that makes a song bad. by the way, in case anyone is wondering, I dont support "secular" rock.

WOW! This is sad! All you people who say "EVERY CHRISTIAN ROCK SONG IS EVIL!" cannot find ONE song from the "evil" band Skillet, that you can use to prove me wrong! In case you dont know how to find lyrics, google "skillet lyrics". Im sure at least ONE of you people can find something. Maybe I should start posting all the songs that prove me right because you seem to be having trouble proving me wrong.

I think that you're honestly confused here. I've worked with kids for many years, and I know how tempting many of these worldly things are at your age.
The truth is right now you're looking for excuses not to do what you know is right and what the Bible says. I think you already know why we believe (and KNOW) that this music is unCHRISTlike.
You probably think that good old fashioned church hymns like "Power in the Blood" and "The Old Rugged Cross" can't be exciting, but they can be!
Whatever we do it should be to the glory of GOD! Rock music certainly isn't to HIS glory.

I believe you mean "amoral". And we are not interested in your God-hating, atheist, amoral ways here. Nothing of God is amoral.

like I said before, go find lyrics from skillet and show me how they are wrong. and the reasom I think you hate christian rock is because youve decided that the only good songs are traditional songs. I have no problem with hymnns except that I personaly cannot stand that style of music. Some of the lyrics I find very awesome, but i cannot stand the style. wake up people! music is ammoral, the lyrics determine whether or not the song is good. Christianty isn't about picking what you like best. The LORD doesn't care what you like, what matters is what HE likes.
By the way, it's not just the lyrics that are wrong, it is also the choice of instrument, the beat and the image these sinners promote.

...changed the lyrics to ones that glorify satan (which would be terrible duh!) none of you would pretend the song was good because you liked the style, you would hate and rightly so! however, in reverse, thats your "logic" behind hating christian rock. and about how they look, if (in my earlier example) the people who changed the lyrics for amazing grace dressed like you, would your opinion of them improve? OF COURSE NOT!

Okay, Skillet lyrics from the song "Locked in a Cage" and why it's wrong:
Quote:
wanna be locked in a cage
I wanna be strapped in a chair
I wanna be where You are
If my insanity comes
Wrapped up inside your... (What kind of perverted message is THAT for our youth? It sounds to me like this has more to do with dirty homosexual bondage and whipping than with CHRIST.)
I wanna break my legs (No wonders kids are so violent!)
In case a thought to escape
Keep the hammer out of my reach
If my pounding impulse comes
Wrapped up inside Your arms
Locked up inside You
Hold me down 'cause I want to know You (I certainly hope he's not asking the LORD JESUS to hold him down. I don't even know what he wants to do with our Precious SAVIOR! )
You bring calm to my rage
You are life and I'm thirsting for You (WHAT is the little pervert thirsting for?!?)
Hold me, hold me, locked in a cage (JESUS does NOT lock people in cages, He only binds their hearts to him and molds their thoughts to Godly things.)
I love to be caught by You
I wanna be trapped in Your arms
Your cage is rest to my bones
Your cage in peace to my soul
Wrapped up inside Your arms
Locked up inside you (Women, please do not read this: This is in reference to a perverted homosexual sex act wherein the dominate sodomite chains his body around the receiving sodomite while having intercourse. It's disgusting!)
Hold me down 'cause I want to know You
You bring calm to my rage
You are life and I'm thirsting for You
Hold me, hold me, locked in a cage
Wrapped up inside Your arms
Wrapped up inside Your arms
I'm inside Your arms
I'm inside Your arms
Hold me down 'cause I want to know You
You bring calm to my rage
You are life and I'm thirsting for You
Hold me, hold me, locked in a cage.
