Not an Introduction; a Questioning -
02-28-2017, 09:16 PM
Hello, I was tasked with the job of representing for my school differences in beliefs. I have consulted Muslim, Jewish and now Christian forums and I would like for you to tell me in your own words what your replies to the following questions would be.What convinced you that your deity is real?
What event in your life, if you were not a Christian at birth, convinced you to become a Christian?
Would you say that you are extremists (It was required to be asked)?
How do you feel about same sex marriage?
How do you feel about abusive relationships, and or rape?
How would you express your beliefs *without* offending anyone?
Whom do you believe undeserving of enlightenment?
Where do you think most people like yourself live?
How do you think about advances in technology?
TO make this fair I'll tell you a bit about myself in return for your attention. I am an intellectual atheist/agnostic. I was born in Indiana and was raised without a religion. I see no reason to believe in or disprove of a god(s) which is why I was chosen for this project, as I am about as neutral as it gets. I enjoy playing video games and camping. I am a straight white male. Thanks for your reading! Answers are very appreciated!

Friend, all you have to do is read the KJV Bible. We follow it, just as God had it written. All you questions are answered in it.
No one could answer you better than Gods Perfect Words™.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

You're welcome and here is the answer you requested. What strikes me most is the need that you feel to identify yourself as "straight". Presumably, you mean that you are not afflicted with the mental disease of homosexuality. That is wonderful. I pray you are not burdened with any of the other hundreds of disabilities that you haven't mentioned.
What has come of the youth of America, when they have to identify themselves as non-pervert?
God Bless!

If you're from Indiana, why do you speak like a foreigner? Do you look like one too?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Well, hello there!
My uncle always said spaghetti is straight, too, until you put it in hot water. I am not sure why he always said that.
Very few intellectuals are born in Indiana, I'm told. The documentary "The Music Man" was centered in Gary, Indiana, aka the cesspool of the Midwest. What area of the Hoosier state do you emanate from?
When one takes a survey for a research project, it is customary to be provided a form that shows who will see the results, the purposes of the research, and assurances of the privacy of data. As an attorney it troubles me that you've provided none of that - so your premise of collecting data for school is already suspect. However, to amuse your 15 year old mind, I'll supply answers since I have nothing to hide and will sue you if it goes further than your school.
1. I am certain that deities exist - some more powerful than others. It is real within me and without me and reality is godlike while also being human.
2. I was Jewish at birth and remained so until the people of Landover led me to Jesus Christ. I am no longer a Christian in the usual sense, but I am a secular pluralist, believing there are good things about Christianity as well as other faiths. We are universal and joined together in the cosmos through our energy fields and our chakras and our common humanity.
3. I am not an extremist. I am a calm, mellow man with no pretense whatsoever.
4. When people love, it is beautiful. There really is no gender in the eyes of the universe and all are free to love within its vast lack of boundaries.
5. Humanity should respect and care for one another, so abuse and rape should be abandoned in favor of love and kindness.
6. I express my beliefs through the way I conduct myself. I accuse no one of having a poor belief system, nor do I accept such accusations from others. I believe in love.
7. Everyone deserves to learn, to grow, and to be enlightened.
8. The group known as humanity exists everywhere, seen and unseen.
9. Technology has always been here; we are merely opening our eyes to it in this chapter of the human story. We likely will be amazed at the capabilities of technology even in five more years.
I hope this has helped you somewhat. I would highly recommend learning more about how to conduct research by purchasing a book about research methods or even doing a search online. There are protocols that are not optional. And hey - let down those "straight" barriers. People are sexual beings, and all can give pleasure to all.
These opinions do NOT represent Landover Baptist Church or its community - they are mine, although they are shared by many loving humans with whom I associate and practice my humanity daily.
A half truth is a whole lie.

The Holy Bible.

Reading the Holy Bible.
Quote:
Would you say that you are extremists (It was required to be asked)?

That's what Jesus is asking us to be in the Holy Bible.
Quote:
How do you feel about same sex marriage?
|
It doesn't matter how I feel; the important thing is that according to the Bible, Jesus hates it and considers it to be an abomination.
Quote:
How do you feel about abusive relationships, and or rape?
|
Again, it does not matter how I feel about it. According to the Bible, Jesus is OK with both of these.
Quote:
How would you express your beliefs *without* offending anyone?

Why should I care about not offending anyone? Example: should I express my views about pedophilia without worrying to offend pedophiles?
Quote:
Whom do you believe undeserving of enlightenment?
|
Pretty much all of humanity, except for the chosen few as detailed in the Bible.
Quote:
Where do you think most people like yourself live?

Please be more specific in defining "people like myself." Do you refer to women? People of Caucasian descent? People of Slavic descent? Christians? Middle class people? All of the above?
Quote:
How do you think about advances in technology?
|
I use a computer, drive a car, and even occasionally watch tv. Does that satisfy your question?

Hello, Mr. or Miss Beleifs!
I have failed to see an informed consent form in your post. I advise other forum members not to reply to any of the questions until such a form is produced and until we receive more information about this research project involving human subjects.

I wondered about that but being a non-judgemental person, I ignored the common explanation that it is an over compensation for a denial of latent homosexuality.
God will judge and toss him to Satan to repeatedly rectally rape him which it seems, is what he wants.

Really, how can you have creation without a creator! Have you been hanging around with secular pluralists?
What event in your life, if you were not a Christian at birth, convinced you to become a Christian?
This is rather a non-question if you don't mind me saying so. It was the Conversion experience of course!
How can anyone be born a Christian?
Would you say that you are extremists (It was required to be asked)?
This is a fallacious question. http://www.logicalfallacies.info/presumption/no-true-scotsman/
How would you express your beliefs *without* offending anyone?
Where in The Bible does it say that?
Whom do you believe undeserving of enlightenment?
No-one deserves to pass from ignorance into His Marvellous Light.
It is a wonderful gift for very few. https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/1-Peter-2-9/
The rest remain unenlightened and will be tortured forever as everyone deserves due to the circumstances of conception.
Where do you think most people like yourself live?
As you can see from the last response most people are NOT like us so they don't live anywhere.
|
Well that's all the questions without some atheistic subtext going on. This is what happens when people ignore God's important message of Salvation. They get into education and try to represent The Truth as somehow equivalent to every false belief out there. No wonder Jesus promised to kill the lot of them!
Yes, Jesus has our very best interests at heart and looks after us day by day even while the heathens prate drivel and seek to turn everyone into mind zombies with a single thought between them all, immense hatred of Jesus and the boundless love He offers, how to denigrate Him and how to declare evil as inerrant wisdom.
No wonder they're offended. Who but fools would deny Jesus? Who rolled back the stone at the empty tomb? Where is Jesus now? These are the real questions to ask.

Dear Beliefs (if that is, indeed, your name),
Due to the fact that you have not provided the correct format for the recording of your "questionnaire" and also the fact that your "school" has declined to send me an official request directed via the correct channels I must decline.
Maybe when you have read and understood, in It's entirety, The Holy Bible (KJV 1611) I will reconsider.
Until that time I shall pray that you see the Light of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Re: Not an Introduction; a Questioning -

I feel the need to say why I believe what I believe, but I am only answering this one question at this time....
The Bible is based on prophecy...
The bible has more than 1000 prophesies...Jesus himself, fulfilled About 350 of the prophecies when he lived on earth...God uses prophecy to prove he is God...
Isaiah 46:9 --I am God, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done...
-
Several Prophecies have been fulfilled,, in detail, within the last several decades, more than 2000 years from their writing...
Even skeptics are being forced to admit the accuracy of the Bible without being able to provide a satisfactory explanation! ...
-
Some prophecies are more detailed and some vague...
To this date, all prophecies have been seen to be fulfilled on some type of schedule, and have received a 100% accuracy...
Researchers have said the odds of even a small number of the prophecies to come true is almost impossible... But hundreds have come true precisely as prophesied...
God's message is that he proves he exists by his prophecies that come true, and that all may come to repentance and believe in Jesus as revealed in the Bible ...
-
We recommend the KJV (king James version) because it is one of the literal translations that has been shown to have better accuracy then some of the paraphrased versions....
-
-
Here is some of those to come...
Revelation 11:6 --The two witnesses will have power over waters to turn them to blood...
Hosea 4:3 --Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven ; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
-
-
Just a couple examples, and this started happening in 2011 and has continued ever since...
(25May2014) Mass Animal Deaths for 2014
-
end-times-prophecy.org/animal-deaths-birds-fish-end-times.html
- This is a very detailed list of die-off events covering that last several years since it began in 2011

It is true that mass animal deaths have happened quite often in past decades...
The difference this time is that what they report is that the amount of animal deaths is far in access of anything that has happened in the decades before this...
-
It started in 2011 and for that year, the average die off events were about 1 every 2 days...
The die off events are several times the replacement of the different groups... every single year since 2012, there have been an average of about 2 mass die off events every day... This has continued from 2012 to this day... They have given sum figures for die off events for each year, at the one site that I listed....

Unusually for her, Miss de Barriga makes a reasonable point here. Also, although this young person has used an anonymous alias, most of us here are posting under our real names. I do not know what sort of laws are in force in Indiana but surely, even there, there must be some form of data protection regulation? Such a blatant invasion of privacy is frowned upon in my country.

Mr Taylor, your post has made me wonder about the original poster, Mr Beleifs. He says he comes from Indiana. Do you think this might be autocorrect for India? It would explain a lot.
Have the hindoos now given up on using the telephone for their marketing scams and adopted the use of internet forums? I think we should be told!

Miss Joanna, I believe that this is, in fact, the case. The stilted use of the English language and the terrible spelling settled it for me. Having worked among the Hindaloos for many years I should have noticed it earlier.

Do not mix me up with the OP (original poster)...
I live in Canada....
If anyone wants to know more about Bible prophecies that are being fulfilled in the last few decades, and even in the last few years, take a look at some videos by ( Israeli news live )...
Take for example, Isis was destroying many of the valuable ancient statues, in Syria and Iraq, using sludge hammers, heavy equipment, and any other means, only a couple years ago... This area is in the area of ancient Babylon. It was pointed out that one of those prophecies was that idols in Babylon would be broken to pieces, and this fulfilled another prophecy in great detail ...
Prophecies are being fulfilled faster now then any time in the last thousand years.... Condescending remarks are not beneficial....

The sludge hammer sounds like the least effective implement ever invented.

Try to calm down, dear. And do stop hijacking the OP's personal introductory thread for your own purposes - you have a perfectly good one of your own. If anyone does want to know more about whatever it is you are on about, I'm quite sure they'll ask you there.

Skeptics will of course point out such things as WWII and the Napoleonic Wars also taking pot shots at ancient Babylon, and the fact that in years past news was passed by word of mouth, not video-recorded and shared in real time so we can't really compare today with yesterday. But naysayers know nothing but sin and deserve nothing but an eternity of excruciating pain and suffering because they refuse to believe the stories in the Holy Bible are true, despite being so fantastic they require blind faith to accept as true. Shame on them.
They shall be damned for all eternity and we shall praise Jesus! We will praise Jesus for slaying His enemies and allowing us to dance the victory dance in their blood (Psalm 68:23)! We'll stomp around their intestines like Lucile Ball stomped around those grapes! We'll glorify Christ as we pick up the eyeballs and spleens of those poor, stupid children who never heard the Gospel, and we'll let our children play games with them, like marbles and hopscotch and egg toss. We'll pick their veins and sinew from our teeth as we grin in victory, for Satan shall never triumph, and those who do his work will become like Soylent Green for the Christian soul!
Glory!
How happy we will be to stomp on the hearts of our enemies!
Thank you Jesus!
