The New Evangelization Movement -
01-05-2016, 02:17 PM
One of my papist coworkers incessantly listens to EWTN Radio and while I have done everything I can to squelch it, the supervisor says he has a right to listen to whatever he wishes. Oddly, the same supervisor screams when I play Christian music on my cassette player. Double standard, I tell you.
Well, there is MUCH talk of "The New Evangelization" among papists these days. One of the radio hosts, Al Kresta, is zealous about this movement. He claims that the church has been catechized but not properly evangelized. This is just their fancy way of saying that they are trying to keep Cathylicks in the church and attract non-Cathylicks into the church in increasing numbers. May God forbid this!
Of course, they are attracting people like crazy. One program in the afternoon deals specifically with non-papists, asking them what is keeping them from converting to the church. No matter the argument, the host of that show, Called to Communion, has a "convincing" response to the callers. On Catholic Answers, there is a segment of their call-in program that the hosts say is reserved ONLY for non-cathylicks, so they can have their questions answered. Again, it's filled with propaganda and false interpretations of the Holy Bible (They use the New American version - heathens - that includes the books of Judith, Maccabees, Wisdom, etc.)
They are also trying to make the church look more attractive to youth by having dances, masses on Saturday afternoons using drums and guitars, and "retreats" designed to pull young men into vocations of priesthood.
Brethren, we must pray against this. We should write to every cathylick radio station in our respective areas and complain about the heresy they are spreading. I call for Pastor Ezekiel to do one of his special ministries, like he does when he goes to Japan to get more pool boys (to convert them to the Lord). He could call it "Ministry to the Cathylicks" or some other clever title.
Don't let another Baptist fall victim to this mass movement. Prayer warriors, take note. Men of the church, know what your children are listening to. Know what your wives are listening to. JESUS will emerge victorious, of course - but we must do our part.
COME, LORD JESUS!

Dear 'Brother' Larry,
Far be it from me to make light of your obvious minimal mental capacities, but you really should reconsider making your humble thoughts public as it becomes clearer by the paragraph that you are desperately jealous of the Catholic Church and our centuries of success in bringing souls to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Of course we have a wonderful radio station that serves as brilliant recruiting tool and of course we are a modern, pro-active community that reaches around the barriers of Baptwit dogma to actively and effectively enrich the lives of former Baptists as they march towards the Sacraments and, eventually, a place beside Jesus and all of the Popes in Heaven.
Needless to say, this ongoing recruitment is clearly difficult (You folks here put the cult in difficult!) for your kind to deal with as one would expect. While we Catholics number well over a billion your... uh... gang are losing members like a Chippendales dance troupe in a wood-chipper.
But fear not.
The house of the Lord, a house built on the rock of St. Peter, has room for anyone who is ready to accept the word of Jesus and reject the silly nonsense of breakaway backwater bandits like your Pastor Zeke and his predecessor, the often incarcerated Pastor Al.
Your post is not a condemnation of The Holy Roman Church but an easily recognizable plea to join Christ's legion of believers here on earth. Trust me when I can say we can help you regain your standing in the eyes of the Lord and trust me when I tell you that no matter how few brains you have you can find a place in the Catholic Church!
Call or drop by anytime to any of our one million plus locations and ask for Father Mo. You will receive a warm welcome like no other you have ever had without paying for it up front.
Bless you, my nanoid neophyte,
Father Mo
.
A Cardinal in the making.

Au contraire!
Having left the chains of the Whore of Babylon - the RCC - I am now FREE in the LORD JESUS CHRIST. I have no desire to live in guilt over every little thing, for the LORD settled it all on Cavalry's street. My GOD allowed His only begotten SON to pay the price for my sins. I confess those to JESUS, not some man who is likely engaged in onanism in a little box next to me as he hears about my struggles with self-love.
I am not a slave to sacrament. I need no planetary indulgencations, no silly belief in transatlantic substations, and no vain, repetitive Rosaries or collection of Holy Cards. Jesus is my ACE and HIS hand will win.
PRAISE GOD!

The Catholic church hasn't been properly Evangelized. If they had been, they wouldn't practice idol worship, infant baptism, and buggery.

Truer words were never spoke, Brother. I'm still waiting, by the way, for us to kneel together someday in brotherly fellowship. The number you gave me was some bar on St Mark's Place. Accidents happen! LOL

Evangelisation is a message designed for the gullible and easily-led. Banging tambourines and screaming “Christian songs” to the sound of some “popular beat-combo” is the sort of thing that promotes the mob-rule mentality of “the Borg” and causes endless trouble in the world. You only need to look at Islamists chanting “Death to everyone!” at some rally organized by a bearded wierdo to realise that.
The Baptist Church, with its low-key, serious approach to mankind’s greatest duty, epitomizes what Christian Worship really means. The Baptist will first establish a deep knowledge of all matters Biblical, maybe with a background of appropriately emotional music designed with God in mind, and then apply these to daily life. The prayers are subdued and God’s Peace descends.
How vile loud noises can achieve anything other than the purposes of Satan is beyond me.
