Metal vocalist Victor Villarreal, known as Vikk Real of both One of Sixx and Byfist, is dead after a motorcycle accident over the weekend. Villarreal was 41 years old.
Villarreal, the president of a local motorcycle club in San Antonio called the Sentinels Motorcycle Club, was killed in a crash with a horse trailer on Saturday night, almost a year after he lost his wife in another tragic motorcycle crash.
His wife, Jessica Villarreal, was killed July 26, 2010 in a separate motorcycle accident on her 37th birthday. Victor Villarreal was the singer of One of Sixx, while Jessica provided back-up vocals. They are survived by their two orphaned children, Stephen Moreno, 17, and Isiscianna Villarreal, 11 (pictured).

It's not the first time the Lord has punished an ENTIRE BAND for it's blasphemies! Just look at 'The Beatles'. A lot of folks come here and mention Lamb Of God, which automatically makes me suspicious. Satan has a way of making things look righteous that are downright evil, using this as a way to tempt us to sin.

Many people quote the following verse but they never really THINK about the ramifications. It's at the end of what is commonly known as The Lord's Prayer and people have repeated it so often that the meaning becomes blurry to them:

(Matthew 6:13) "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

Thundering drums and screeching electric guitars and thumping bass: honestly, do you think that will be the music you hear in Heaven? Can you see Jesus playing a Stratocaster? John the Baptist on a Precision Bass?

Of course not.

I'll leave you with a little number called "Bringing In The Sheaves."

Even that is a little too rollicking for me, but trumpets and cymbals are mentioned in Psalm 150 so it's OK.

Where in the world would you come to the conclusion that the ultimate Satanic band Lamb of God were a band singing the praises of Jesus Christ? I looked into this band seeing as their name is borderline blasphemy itself (pretending to be the Lord Christ Jesus), and they were originally called "Burn the Priest." Does that sound like a True Christian™ band to you? I mean, sure, Priests of any false Christian and catlick denomination will surely burn in Hell, but that's God's job, not theirs. Again, they are equating themselves with the Lord, making them false prophets.

While there are a lot of metal bands that worship the devil and satan, there are also just as many that don't.
Condemning an entire group of people because of what some people have done, is wrong.
For instance. The band, Oh, Sleeper. They're a Christian band, but they have that metal, screaming, type sound. They spread the word of God through music and younger generations can relate to.

So basically what you're saying is, praise, regardless of form, has to happen in a manner you deem fitting?
In my opinion, and from what I was taught by my church at a young age, is that praise, regardless of form, is still praise the God appreciates. I think music is a great way for people to talk about what they believe.
Oh, Sleeper, are writing lyrics, and making music for the Lord. That's all they want to do. They just luck out because they're able to do it through music, which is something they love, and something so many people can relate to.
