Thank you Maria you bring up very good points I am atheist and can tell you that almost none of those are true first of all this is not unbiased like it says it is very biased it is not a fair argument to say some membors of a group believe in something so that means everyone must the people on this forum say that atheist are communist when that is not true I am not one what if I said one member of the church hates the constitution so that means all members of the church do. And if god sends all liars to hell then everyone is going. I know the consequences of my beliefs if you guys are right I will burn in hell but I am a good person I help people whenever I can and never harm people on purpose and if I don't get into heaven just because I don't believe in god then he is just not worth following thanks for reading.

"Moral depravity" and " learned times" are essentially redundant terms. As for the danger of learned times, they got that right! I would NEVER have fallen away from the Lord if I had simply concentrated on obeying the Bible instead of trying to understand it. If we supported that person's hateful sin, yes, we would be just as guilty in God's eyes. If we discover someone in our church disagrees with our beliefs, we kick them straight on the street until they come back on their knees begging to be allowed back in. We could see them starving on the street, dying, and we would not help them.

I am an atheist. I have morals and don't accept unmoralistic acts. I believe that christians in some sense do bash on atheists. And not to mention that the number of atheists in the world is actually growing, despite your so called "facts". I'm sorry to mention this but American isn't a language, its called English. If you do some research that is easily available, you would find that the bible was originally written in Aramaic. Islam is the largest religion in the world, and the number of christian and and religious people are drastically declining. If we are so evil why is it so accepted? Also you should know that you bible, the so called "word of god is a pagan plagiarism. Constantine, the roman emperor was the publisher of the new testament bible. If you actually did your research you would know these things. Suicide rates in developed countries are actually in teens which is a naturally occurring event, it has nothing to do with atheism. How is it that you are all fallowing the word of god but are always blatantly ignoring his word, a true christian wouldn't do that. I hate ignorance, and that is why i am not a christian. you will more that likely say that demons or something along those lines lines has possessed me but i guarantee that i am completely sane and happy. if you truly fallow the word of god why aren't you killing non-Christians. the word god and jesus don't need capitals at the beginning, simply because god isn't real and there is no proof that jesus was either. we know that Romans were masters of record keeping, and there are several record of other so called "messiahs" but not one record of jesus. Well im sorry i appear ignorant, and maybe i am about the capital letters it is a bit disrespectful. My morals are a compilation of the morals set in christian, Buddhist, and Jewish religions. my morals also don't change from day to day. i truly want better things for this world and the people in it. so my morals are not allowing innocent children to be killed, like Rev. M. Rodimer thinks. But i guess that shows the ignorance of some people. I am not like most atheists, i believe that the bible actually has moralistic value. it's great to follow the morals of this so called "holy book". And onto the topic of Josephus, I've done my research. For those who don't know about Josephus, he is supposedly the only proof that Christ existed outside of the bible. Josephus' works about Jesus where found to be forgeries hundreds of years ago. I Was a Christian for 14 years i left that behind for the fact that the stories in the bible are plagiarized, there is no proof of god or Jesus, Jesus' miracles went unrecorded, and when i would pray, even though i was highly devoted my prayers went unnoticed. The bible is riddled with contradictions and scientific flaws. It's moralistic value is outstanding but that all it truly offers to the world. The belief that atheists come go to Christianity but Christians don't convert is false, anybody with half a brain would understand that. Im not one to talk about a subject that im not knowledge in. i understand faith and i understand loving god, but i dont understand how so many people would follow the rules of a conformation set up completely by the Romans nearly two thousand years ago. there is nothing more deserving of hell more than ignorant closed mindedness. Everything that is said here is taken into consideration, and i wont just blow off anything said as ignorant and false unless i know the truth and learned about it myself. And as i stated previously truth is relative not finite. If any one of you could provide to me actually proof of the existence of god that can't be dis-credited and is not related to the Judeo-christian faith; then i will gladly denounce everything that i have stated that is against god.

I don't understand this. Considering this was hundreds of years before printing was invented, Constantine could not "publish" anything. Do you mean he wrote it? Well, that's not true either. The books of the New Testament already existed by the mid-second century (although this was still almost a hundred years removed from Christ). Constantine made Christianity a state religion. He added a lot of pagan aspects to it. But he didn't invent it outright. (You are right though, that the story of Jesus is similar to stories of various other pagan gods of the time).
