Praise God, Texas is leading the way in bringing our childran of Christ back into the home for education!

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has decided that the perfect person to run the state’s Board of Education, which is responsible for designing school curriculum, standards, and managing the state’s massive public school system is a woman who home schools her children.

Abbott seems to have hand-chosen Donna Bahorich as the new board chair based on her conservative and religious values rather than her experience in dealing with public schools. As Michael Stone at the Progressive Secular Humanist blog noted, Bahorich’s kids never set foot in a public school.

And indeed, consrvative and religious values are the fundamentl criteria for teeching our precious children, the snarky and God-hating Michael Stone aside.

So Donna's kids have never set feet inside a public schol? Good for them. And les liberal contmination to erase from there young brains.

Glory, when al children begin their education with Genesis 1:1!

Difficulkt days, when fags can marry but this is a strat when we gain control ovar what our kids learn.

It makes sense to me. Home-schooled kids have the highest test scores in the country. Public schools are a joke; the fraction of students capable of learning at all are indoctrinated with leftist propaganda. Expecting an employee of one of those zoos to know a thing about education is like seeking nutritional advice from Ronald McDonald.

However, I should point out that homeschooling does not breed uppity little teens who invade other people's forums for the sole purpose of abusing them from behind the anonymity of the interweb. My homeschooled children are not so cowardly.

Indeed. The Holy Bible is the only publication guaranteed to have been personally written by the LORD (2 Timothy 3:16). It's inconceivable that He would have neglected telling us something that we need to know, and so, it couldn't be true. This entire life we have in front of us on this earth was granted to us to serve and obey the LORD (Ecclesiastes 12:13). To this end, we have only one source to look to, Him. He gives us His Word in print and in Spirit, and the faithful need only ask to be granted the wisdom we need (James 1:5).

Still, men need to know how to protect and provide for their families, and women need to know how to keep a God-Honoring home (Titus 2:5). While home education is sufficient unto that end, the LORD has wisely given the state of Texas a home educating specialist the noble task of shaping up their education to be more in line with the Scriptures for those who are unable or unwilling to comply (Luke 14:23). This is important not only for the souls in Texas, but for the entire nation (2 Chronicles 7:14).

I shall continue to pray for that state, and those who continue to modify its educational infrastructure until it resembles the Holy Bible so closely that upon first glance, it looks identical.
