Verily, we agree. We also think most people who claim to be Christians fail to practice what the Bible teaches.
This is very promising!
It may be a good idea also to be prudent regarding Churches. It is wise to avoid false Christians, such as Catholics, Calvinists, Pentecostals, Jehovists, Mormons, Lutherans,
etc. Still, I can assure you that also True Christians™ still exist. We are
here to help you on your path to Jesus.
However, I must warn you against not reading the Bible. It is most
useful as a handbook for
Salvation.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Let us start at the basics: who are you, how did you find Jesus and surely, even if you haven't memorized the Bible yet, there must be a favorite verse foe you somewhere?
