I'm not sure where to post this... -
09-18-2008, 05:02 AM
I ran a quick search to see what the difference between Baptists and churches that don't call themselves baptists...and I found this board...
Before I go say anything further, I'm not a proclaimed Baptist. I've accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior and hold Him to be the one and only way to heaven. That said, I think I..um.. behave(?) differently than you all do... I did go to a Baptist school/church for most of my childhood, but I found that there was a severe lack of love and grace shown.
After all, if not for the grace of Jesus Christ we'd be no better than the "fag" down the street... I guess that (even though I'm only 1/4th Chinese) I've already felt offended that Chinese people are being referred to strictly as "chinks"... is that necessary? Is calling african-americans "negroes" or "negras" necessary? If they are unsaved, they are lost people that need to hear of God's grace.. if they are fellow believers, why refer to them by their race? In actuality, there are no races, just groups of people..(referring to the split that occurred at the tower of Babel..but that's a creation-based science lesson in and of itself)...
I have many more questions, but it just seems like followers of the Christ that reached out to "evil tax collectors" and gentiles, and have been given a gift of salvation through the grace of God would be a little more humble... after all, Jesus summed up all of the commandments in "Love your neighbor as yourself" and "Love the Lord your God.."
Please don't think that I'm being critical of the posters of this board.. I just noticed that some of the language used is quite hateful...

Welcome to Landover Baptist Church, Mrs. Bailey. I hope you'll find Jesus while you're here. (You're not Irish are you?)
I moved your post to the introductions section, because that is usually the best place to start. You might want to take a look at THIS thread for new posters. It will answer many of your questions.
Please tell us about yourself. How old are you? What sort of sinful lifestyle choices have you made? Do you have your Husband's permission to post here?
I'll be praying for you.
Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

How about gooks or slopes, is that more pleasing to you hotrod? I suppose you would be 1/4 gook or 1/4 slope but what the hell, huh who am I to argue fractional content?
Fag is a VERY hateful word and I for one resent your using it, we call them homers or rump rangers, lets try to keep that straight alright?
Nigra is a very respectful term for our tar baby friends. Negro is quite offensive, and don't even get me started on african american, they hate that. Nigras actually prefer nigra. I have asked several of them at the shoeshine and/or watermelon stands and they have confirmed it for me.
Isaiah 36.12 - But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

No, No, I always assume that such statements mean that you will criticize the God Mockers, the Goths, Wiccans, Satanists, and assorted atheists that infest these parts

Ma’am, I am as concerned as you but I think that we should both see the bigger picture. The Unsaved Trash come here, spouting off like the Gadarene Swine but they are the ones who have been directed here by Jesus. We must accept them and their “hateful language” and hope that the will see The Way, The Truth and The Light.
With your sensitivities, you may be able to help some of them; goodness knows we True Christians have our work cut out. So if you could start roundly rebuking them, not sparing the rod, and telling God’s Word, rather than what they would like to hear, I think you could make a fine member of the Landover Congregation!
Praise for your forthright stand against all that is evil and mocking!

I'm afraid, my dear, that if you are not "a proclaimed Baptist", then you really haven't met Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Baptists are the original Christians.
As for saving sinners, this is why we are here! True Christians™ are to speak the truth in love, and we love the sinners so much that we come here often to tell them how they shall be damned unless they turn to Jesus. How much more loving can you be than to turn to someone in heaven and recognise them as the homer you saved?

So this Bailey chink is a carpet muncher? She does have a lot of work to do if shes wants to get into heaven!
Bailey,
You need to renounce your heathen chink ways, stop having sex with dykes, and then you must get right with the Lord and work your way toward becoming a True Christian™ unless you want to burn in hell for all eternity.

Well, I'm pretty sure she is a homer. Most non True Christians™ are. Plus, she hasn't answered Pastor Zeke's question about her husband. A bit evasive...

Please, PLEASE do go on and tell us about this USING THE BIBLE as your source.
Really, I'd love to see someone try to prove there is any Biblical foundation for this belief. Here's a Biblically-sourced explaination of the origin of races.
1. God Created Adam in the image of God
2. God created Eve in the image of Adam, meaning, also in the image of God
3. Since evolution does not exist, all 6.5 billion people on Earth should be exactly like Adam and Eve
4. Yet they aren't
5. Therefore anyone who doesn't look exactly like Adam or Eve, is either an animal or a creation of Satan
Don't give me any "God created races after the tower of Babel" this is not in the Bible, and if God suddenly created the ancestors of 99.9999% of humanity in a miracle, would be written in the Bible. Arguments without Biblical citations will automatically lose the debate!
Disagree? By failing to register and debate me, you prove that liberals are factless frauds who only persuade through intimidation. To prove otherwise, debate me!

you seem confused. Perhaps a bit of Mark:
11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:
4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them
Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
