Now how was this thing supposed to have evolved? The stock evil-utionist answer is that a caladium mutated to have the white markings, which provided an evil-utionary advantage. However, creationist information theory teaches us that mutations never add information, but instead only cause a loss of information. Thus, any mutation would have caused the plant's markings to be less elaborate, not more.

Creationism, on the other hand, explains the plant perfectly. When God created plants, He knew that later in the week, He would create moths that would parasitize the plants. Therefore, in His infinite goodness, He provided a way for the plant to protect itself. No, God was not working at cross purposes with Himself; everything that He created had a purpose.

Who comes up with this junk science? It's just a plant with some lines on it. Plants don't think, and this one didn't 'decide' to paint itself to avoid being eaten by a moth.
