What do Christians mean when the say today that Jesus died "for their sins" some 2000 years ago? Nobody born since before he died played any role whatsoever in his death so why do Christians apparently blame everybody born since for his demise? Maybe if you would open up a Bible you would easily find the answer to your question. The simple answer is that everyone is born a sinner, but Christ's sacrifice on the cross washes away our sins when we accept Him as our Savior.

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Of course Christ's sacrifice extends to everyone in the future, as well.

I may be the rare exception, and this may indeed stump even the most seasoned man of the cloth among you, but I was actually not "born a sinner". I was born a baby and, at least for many years thereafter, behavior that could be construed by some as "sinning" was really the furthest thing from my mind. That would change. But seriously, when I was born I was guilty of nothing, at least nothing that would stand up in court.

I'd like to know how the clergy explain this in a conversation ostensibly aimed at converting someone to your beliefs. We are born with sin. Here's just two quotes from the Bible which tell us that.

Psalms 51:5 "Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother
conceive me."

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

I know, since you are a Godmocker, you feel that the Bible doesn't apply to you but it does. Simply burying your head in the sand will not make the problem go away.

Would you be willing to accept Jesus Christ as your savior this evening?

I will say there were times during the infancies of my own daughters when I was, at least briefly, convinced that each was evil incarnate, which gave rise to feelings that I was evil incarnate.

Now how can we ever trust the words of a creature who denies that which he has personally experienced? This proves that atheist know that God is real, but dispite the overwhelming evidence for the existence of God they deny Him out of spite. The sins of mankind had built up to a boiling point where no man could ever make up for his own sins alone. That's why He came to us in the flesh. Jesus punishes the son for the sins of the father. That accumulated to alot of inherited sin after 4000 years of human debauchery. Jesus took the burden for the sins of all mankind, cleaning them away with His most holy blood. Only the blood of God was holy enough to do the job. No sacrificed unblemished cows or goats would do any longer. God was done savouring the smell of burnt animal guts and fat. All you have to do is accept His temporary sacrifice and your slate is cleaned. That way, as long as you don't commit any further sins you will be good to go on Judgement Day.

Even Jeffrey Dahmer was cleaned of sin when he accepted Jesus while incarcerated and will now join us in Heaven while Mother Teresa will burn in Hell for all eternity for being a Mary-worshipping papist witch despite all her "good deeds". Salavation is so easy, sinner. Please, for the sake of your eternal soul, accept Jesus into your heart!!!
